After some much appreciated advice from this thread, I've changed things around in my Black 2 team and I'm pretty happy with it now. I've just defeated Marlon. So far, I haven't missed Unfezant. I really only had him on my team to deal with Marshal; but I'm sure Ambipom's Aerial Ace and Flygon's Fly will handle him just fine.
Ambipom ♂ Nature: Adamant
Ability: Technician, Item: Lucky Egg (he's still catching up to the rest of my team)
Moves: Return, Fake Out, Aerial Ace, Low Sweep
Flygon ♂ Nature: Adamant
Ability: Levitate, Item: Dragon Fang / Yache Berry
Moves: Earthquake, Dragon Claw, Stone Edge, Fly
Crustle ♂ Nature: Adamant
Ability: Shell Armor, Item: Wide Lens
Moves: X-Scissor, Stone Edge, Earthquake, Shell Smash
Galvantula ♂ Nature: Modest
Ability: Compoundeyes, Item: Brightpowder
Moves: Bug Buzz, Thunder, Energy Ball, Thunder Wave
Ferrothorn ♂ Nature: Brave
Ability: Iron Barbs, Item: Rocky Helmet / Big Root (I still switch these around)
Moves: Power Whip, Gyro Ball, Leech Seed, Ingrain
Jellicent ♂ Nature: Modest
Ability: Cursed Body, Item: Quick Claw
Moves: Surf, Shadow Ball, Ice Beam, Recover
Thanks for your input, guys!

I do regular Pokémon giveaways on Tumblr, click here and come trade with me!
This will be a team for a Platinum let's play I will make, I just want to see what you people think. This is planned, and I haven't actually started the LP yet.
Empoleon [Surf, Ice Beam, Flash Cannon, Drill Peck]
Ambipom [Double Hit, Strength, Fire Punch, Seed Bomb]
Togekiss [Return, Air Slash, Fly, Aura Sphere]
Glaceon [Ice Beam, Hail, Blizzard, Shadow Ball]
Electivire [ThunderPunch, Fire Punch, Earthquake, Rock Climb]
Still need a sixth Pokemon, any suggestions?
Cofagrigus can take hits better, especially since it has higher HP (you can use Leftovers too on that now empty item slot), and actually do damage to your foes.
Long story short: half of this team is Pokemon I've never used in Platinum, and the other half are practically staples to any of my Sinnoh teams. I originally had a team of just Sinnoh Pokemon I've never used before, but then I lost the original list and only remembered half the team.
Anyway, the team in question. I'm up to Eterna City:
1.) Monferno (Lvl. 21)
- Adamant (Good endurance)
- Mach Punch, Leer, Flame Wheel, Taunt (Current)
- Close Combat, Flare Blitz, Shadow Claw, Flamethrower (Eventual)
- Will be holding a Razor Claw
2.) Drifloon (Lvl. 21)
- Modest (Somewhat vain)
- Payback, Astonish, Gust, Focus Energy (Current)
- Shadow Ball, Stockpile, Baton Pass, Fly (Eventual)
3.) Kricketune (Lvl. 21)
- Serious (Proud of its power)
- Bug Bite, Bide, Growl, Sing (Current)
- X-Scissor, Night Slash, Perish Song, Swords Dance (Eventual, though debatable)
4.) Shinx (Lvl. 4)
- Adamant (Loves to eat)
- Tackle (Current)
- Thunder Fang, Crunch, Strength, Spark (Eventual)
Planned Team Members:
- ? nature (? characteristic)
- ? Ability
- Close Combat, Psycho Cut, Leaf Blade, Night Slash (Eventual)
- ? Gender
- ? nature (? characteristic)
- ? Ability
- Earthquake, Ice Fang, Stone Edge, Return (Eventual, though debatable)

I always root for the ships that don't get a lot of love.
I am playing my white2. I have never played a GenV game before except for the hacked white2 rom & my current black2.
I've always wanted to try an all GenV Pokemons for my party.
For my starter, I will choose Tepig since it's the only starter I haven't try.
My other 5 would be Swoobat, Seismitoad, Archeops, Gothitelle & Accelgor.
I am not using Chandelure, Braviary, Volcarona, Zoroark & pseudo-legendaries for this one.
For flying is Vullaby good? Or Swanna?
Note that I haven't used like 90% of the GenV Pokemons except for the ones that I said I wouldn't used.
For movesets, I don't really follow smogon's cos I don't do competitive except for PWT lol.
Kenta's Pokemon Party
Lansten; pointed out, you can't obtain Seismitoad or Archeops before the Elite 4 in White 2. Also, Gothitelle is exclusive to Black 2.
Personally, as you're already using Swoobat, I wouldn't want to double up on using another Flying-type, however if you want to, the expanded Unova Pokédex has many different options. Vullaby can only be obtained in Black 2 (and even then, only as a Mandibuzz). However, the Pokédex does have other options like Crobat (available as Zubat in Castelia Sewers) or Skarmory (Reversal Mountain). I'd personally suggest Skarmory, as its Steel-typing covers the common rock weakness it would otherwise share with your Swoobat and Accelgor. Personally, I'd use Sigilyph (Desert Resort) over Swoobat, as it has bulkier stats and can easily fill the supporter role of Gothitelle as well, but it's all down to personal choice.
In regards to a replacement for Seismitoad, I'd suggest another water-type that is available pre-Elite 4 that could help you cover that possible rock weakness (I assume you going for a Water/Ground type was partially for this reason?). I'd personally recommend a Vaporeon (Eevee can be obtained in Castelia City and Water Stones can be purchased from the Battle Subway in Nimbasa City) or a Floatzel (Buizel can be obtained on Route 11). Alternatively, there are solid grass-type Pokémon available as well, such as Sawsbuck (you even get given a Deerling with its Hidden Ability Serene Grace during the game's story) or Ferrothorn (Ferroseed in Chargestone Cave) - Sawsbuck is all about offence while Ferrothorn is defence, so it obviously depends on what kind of role you want one to play in your team.
As for the last slot, I would possibly suggest an Ice or Dark type, as they will provide coverage against some common types in the game. Weavile (available as Sneasel in Giant Chasm) fills both of those type slots, but I also found Drapion (Skorupi in Reversal Mountain) to be particularly useful during my playthrough. You could also possibly use Krookodile (especially as it learns Outrage, which will be useful against Drayden and Iris). You could use an Ice-type, or you could just give an Ice-type move to your chosen Water Pokémon.
Hello, everyone! I've beaten the game in White 2, and I'm thinking of using the team I went through the game with to take on the White Treehollow/PWT and to get good enough to beat my friends' teams. Please note that I cannot change natures or get Egg Moves on these guys, since I wouldn't want to undo my hard work, but help on movesets would be appreciated.
