I'm playing in game Pokemon Black for the first time, and having trouble picking out a sixth Pokemon for my team. I tried to go for Cryogonal, but it's about as fragile as... well, as a snowflake. So, I need one more, and I'm open to ideas!
My team as follows, currently:
Samurott (Lv. 41) @ Mystic Water (Torrent)
- Razor Shell
HP - 135
ATK - 114
DEF - 80
SPATK - 88
SPDEF - 71
SPD - 78
Archeops (Lv. 42) @ No item (Defeatist)
- Rock Slide
HP - 124
ATK - 128
DEF - 79
SPATK - 105
SPDEF - 60
SPD - 109
Lilligant (Lv. 42) @ Miracle Seed (Chlorophyll)
- Quiver Dance
- Giga Drain
HP - 120
ATK - 60
DEF - 78
SPATK - 122
SPDEF - 77
SPD - 94
Krookadile (Lv. 41) @ Rocky Helmet (Intimidate)
- Focus Blast
HP - 133
ATK - 118
DEF - 62
SPATK - 60
SPDEF - 65
SPD - 97
I'm currently making my way through the Twist Mountain, and I plan on picking up a Durant at the Victory Road, but I can't decide on a sixth Pokemon. It would also be nice if you could let me know of any glaring mistakes on my team! Thanks! (If you think of a better replacement for Durant, do let me know, though I like it a lot)
EDIT - Just something in mind; if it's possible to get a Pokemon that has no evolutions for the sixth, that would be great! I have personal reasons for this, being that I have Krookodile and Samurott, 3 stage Pokemon, Lilligant and Archeops, 2 stage Pokemon, and Durant, a one stage Pokemon. Obviously I won't hold myself to this if it compromises my team, though.
@Dr. Slavic ;
Because your team has three members weak to Ice and only on resist, I'd say go with something that resists Ice. If you don't want Cryogonal, there still is other Pokemon like Heatmor available. But if you don't mind getting something that does evolve, go with Darmanitan or Bisharp
I like to focus on straight attacks without using stat boosting moves.
Volcarona (Lv.60) Flame Body (Fire Gem)
Zoroark (Lv.65) Illusion (BlackGlasses)
Salamence (Lv.100) Intimidate (Adamant Orb)
Serperior (Lv.87) Overgrow (Miracle Seed)
Lucario (Lv.66) Steadfast (Expert Belt)
Gengar (Lv.66) Levitate (Spell Tag)
This is my current Pokemon Black team (I've tried the game once with each starter).
Serperior/64/Overgrow/Miracle Seed/Giga Drain-Leaf Blade-Coil-Aerial Ace
Chandelure/62/Flame Body/Spell Tag/Shadow Ball-Inferno-Flamethrower-Psychic
Crustle/62/Shell Armor/Scope Lens/X-Scissor-Earthquake-Rock Wrecker-Shell Smash
Gothitelle/61/Frisk/Macho Brace/Shadow Ball/Psybeam/Psychic/Thunderbolt
Scrafty/62/Shed Skin/Quick Claw/Hi Jump Kick-Crunch-Strength-Brick Break
Can you tell me how to Improve my team?
Girafirig (Level 56 Quirky Nature)
Zen Headbutt, Pyschic, Crunch, Return(Max Friendship)
Alakazam (Level 49) Pysbeam Pyschic, False swipe(I think?) Giga Impact
Luxray (levek 53) Thunder Spark Roar Crunch
I want to keep my girafirig no matter what.
Hey, this is my Platinum party just before going into Victory Road and then to the elite 4. I have not caught Giratina, but i do have Uxie and Azelf. I will not be training them up yet as i wish to get through victory road first, so that i can be rid of my 2 HM slaves when i do.
Luxray (Blurr) Lv 54
Torterra (Sola) Lv 57
Rapidash (Vitesse) Lv 49
Staraptor (Horizon) Lv 46
Buneary (HM Slave 3) Lv 16
Gyarados (Draconis) Lv 20
I've been using this team since Eterna city, and they have beaten everything that came their way, but now that i'm nearing the elite 4, i want to know what other two pokemon i need to replace Buneary and Gyarados. Anyway, any help would be awesome :P

This is my in-game team for Sapphire. I'm currently at the Pokemon Leaugue.
So, what do you think? Any suggestions?
Hey there. I have seen many Pokemon Black and White playthroughs on YouTube, and I have noticed that a lot of people are stuck on what Pokemon to use and what move sets they should have and if they're any good or not when it comes to the elite four. So I feel like helping you guys with problems involving movesets, as I think I have a fair bit of knowledge in the 5th gen ingame area. I have played Pokemon White with every starter, so I think I know some good ideas with them.
So what you need to do is just simply name a Pokemon who you are having trouble with or just curious about, and I will give an in-depth analysis of them, give them a grade based on what moves they can learn, their stats and how/when they evolve, and give some possible move set ideas for them.
Only five requests per day, so if five people have posted before you in a day, please wait until tomorrow.
Only one request per day per person.
The Pokemon can only be 5th gen Pokemon.
Please don't troll, it just wastes time and it's not worth it.
I am open to any feedback, good and bad.
Also, if there is a thread like this, mods, lock the thread.
Bye for now.
I could use some help with my Haxorus's moveset.
I know I want:
I don't know what to use for the last 2. I usually don't user stat booster moves (like swords dance), especially because his attack is already so high. And I don't like moves with low accuracy (so I never use Hydro Pump, Thunder, Blizzard, etc.) And I want his moveset to be completely physical, no special attacks. I was thinking about adding slash, but I don't know.
This guy is pretty freakin overused, I personally don't know why. The only stat which is really outstanding is his enormous 147 base attack! That's more than Excadrill! It's defences at 76/90/70 really aren't anything to boast about, and his speed is trolled by Hydreigon, at 98, one more than Haxy. It appears much earlier that the other dragon types in the game, and doesn't fully evolve until level 48, by that time, you'd probably be at the Elite four, if not, beaten them already.
Let's talk about the abilities, Mold Breaker. This disables the use of abilities. This can be beneficial in cases such as if the opponent has something like Levitate or especially the Mummy ability, famously gained by CoFAGrigus. It's other ability, Rivalry, raises the attack stat if the opponent is of the same gender. I personally don't like this ability, because when you're up against a pokemon that has a disadvantage to you, only some of the time, will you be able to do good damage to them, and knowing you don't want any stat boosting moves, e.g. Dragon Dance, it becomes even more useless. :(
Grade - C+ (Not bad, but not amazing either)
Obviously, you'd want to make use of Haxy's incredible Physical Attack stat, so here's a movement that I think fits your standards...
Haxorus @ Ghost/Bug Gem
Ability - Mold Breaker
-Shadow Claw/X Scissor
This set is basically a standard in game set, apart from Dragon/Swords Dance. In replacement of that, I have put in Rock Slide for QuakeEdge coverage. Give it the Bug or Ghost gem to give it some extra power, and if you choose Shadow Claw, it may get a 4x boost if it gets a critical hit. You wanted Earthquake and Dragon Claw, and I dont disagree with that, they're the best attacking moves he will learn. I wouldn't recommend Slash, because you have Shadow Claw, which has the same power and crit ratio, but SC is actually super effective against something!
If that doesn't work out for you, you could get an Eviolite Fraxure to give it some extra bulk, with the moves...
-Dragon Dance (I know you don't like it, but it really helps its mediocre speed)/Payback
Hope this helped and taught you a few things about Haxy.
