Thread: Fukiyose Airport - What is it for?!

Some of you may know about the interesting and mysterious building located in Fukiyose City in Pokemon Black and White.

For those of you who's opinion isn't expressed in the poll. Post your prediction.

My tentative prediction is that somewhere in the future you will be able to fly to other regions in the same generation. It probably won't come true, but hey, I can dream!

Fuuro in the dialogue actually pokes fun at the fact she can't fly you anywhere...she runs a cargo plane. So, I assume the airport isn't a commercial one, but rather it's used for shipping and the like.

If you use strength on all of the airplanes, Keldio will arrive and you'll be able to capture it.

Or so I've heard. :)

It's probably just scenery. Y'know, since Fukiyose City is an airport city.

Nothing, disappointingly.

Yet another thing the third version should fix.

I'd like to think it takes you to an exclusive area in Unova, but in case it does nothing, the third version really should add something there!

The city has a Gym, but it has nothing to do with the Airport.

Well, let's hope the third version decides to be "creative" and add an extra post-game region.

Though, something in me says that Gen V Frontier brains will all be on some kind of transport device, and we'll have a Battle Plane to go along with the Battle Subway, and of course, a Battle Ship.

But then we need 2 more battle vehicles if they stick with the 5 brains thing from gen4.

Battle bus?

We need one more.

We can't have a battle bike or anything.

Oh I totally agree that it SHOULD do that. It would be totally akin to gold/silver, where you could go back to Kanto after you beat the game.

The main issue with this is that it would require more or less quintupling the content of the game.

Also where would the airports be in Kanto/Johto/Hoenn/Sinnoh?

My thought is that there could be an airstrip in Cianwood or else on the shore near Olivine city (near the port and the lighthouse) which would grant access to Johto and Kanto; an airstrip either taking the place of Pal Park, or else just next to Pal Park granting access to Sinnoh; and an airstrip at the south end of Slateport city granting access to Hoenn.

This would all be really cool, but I doubt it'll happen (at least in this generation)

interesting idea... maybe the frontier brain would specialize in moon stone evolving Pokemon, like Clefable? or maybe Lunatone and Solrock? or maybe it would use Deoxys and Kyurem (which are supposed to have come down from meteors)

I would consider: subway, ship, plane, bus, taxi, that's my best idea. The taxi could be like cash cab!

As for what the airports for. Nothing. The truck next to the ss anne. Red Herring.
