my dragon tamer lance! he has the best pokes i love his dragonite

Wataru. He has that sort of elegance that a Champion needs.
Not all those who wander are lost...
I would say Cynthia because of her rock-awesome battle theme; but it would be Blue in my opinion, because it was an awesome climax to an amazing rivalry.
Lance is a cheater, that's why I hate him.

The suit, the hair, the stone collecting, telling me to use a diverse team and then using a type theme for himself, that steel is the type, Player-Steven vs. Maxie-Tabitha, Steven is my favorite. Too bad he didn't get an important role in the show, since it was based on Emerald having Wallace as champion. I think it would have been cool if he had been the one to beat Ash in the league to reference his power in Emerald.
Even though I'm all for a female being a champion for the first time, I'll have to go with Blue. He was always my favorite rival, and actually ends up becoming the champion~ My second favorite would then be Cynthia, but I honestly can't stand how she makes an appearance in 3 separate regions in a row (D/P/Pt, HG/SS, and even B/W T_T).
I love Lance, but Cynthia is my favorite. It might be just because she is a blonde girl, like me!
Cynthia, the fact that she had a Garchomp made her awesome (in my opinion)
Blue was emo, and quite a boring one at being emo (which I think applies for all emos), and I don't like emo characters.
Lance had poor design, and low variety.
Wallace, same as above.
I actually like Steven as much as Cynthia, but I voted for Cynthia she had more variety than Steven.
Cynthia all the way. Great battle theme, variety, a competitively strong team, gave me a run for my money and she's easy on the eyes to boot.
Lance cheats and he still gets his butt kicked.
Blue was a douche
Wallace was predictable
Steven was cool but a bit too easy
Where the hell is Red in this poll? Even if he is only a former Champion, that's still gotta count for something. And everyone knows he wields both the title and the music far better than Lance.
Meh. Since Red isn't an option, I guess I'll go with Cynthia. Name another Champion who shows up in three different regions.
....wait, that's technically Red again, who's been in Kanto (protagonist), Johto (Mt. Silver) and Orre (link battle). Four regions if you count the Sevii Islands as separate from Kanto.
Cynthia no doubt! She's got a challenging team with variety, she's got a cool theme, she's beautiful, and no other champion is awesome enough like she is to appear in 3 different regions in 2 generations.
Steven of course. His battle music is great and his Metagross is a force to be reckoned with.
i like them all really, but if we are ranking them...
IMO:
1 - Shirona/Cynthia - she was a great character overall, she studying myths and helping you out was cool, all of her Pokémon (minus Gastrodon, but assuming Platinum as the canon) fit my style very well (in Pearl i didn't look at the gym leaders nor at the elite four so i wouldn't spoil myself, well actually i only looked at the new pokés before playing, and i ended up with Empoleon, Spiritomb, Roserade, Lucario, Garchomp and Staraptor in my team before facing her xD!).
2 - Adeku - i still didn't Play BW but i like his character, pretty moving backstory too, helping against TP, giving wise advices, having cool clothes, a very good line-up and that crazy hair really helps.
3 - (tie) Mikuri/Wallace - i like his style (well, i like all of the Champion's styles), his elegance, he uses my favorie type, he was kind of hard to me, only because i wasn't prepared for a water-type champion, his role in previous games also helped.
3 - (tie) Wataru/Lance, Badass Cape, good music, Dragon-types, helping you the most against the villains, being Clair's Cousin, a good challenge and being an unexpected champion for me, playing FRLG, before Crystal made me think he was just a Elite Four again, so sue me...
4 - Daigo/Steven, i like Steven, he looks cool, he acts cool, but i never had any troubles at all with his team in Ruby, he beinng the champion was really pretty much given (ignore what i said about Wallace and Lance...), collecting stones and Being Rich while helping you by giving you with cool items was also great~xD!
5 - Green/Blue - easiest Champion ever IMO, you were already used to his team by fighting him of the whole game, and yet another battle with him was uneeded IMO, i just think knowing what the Champion would use against you gives you really more time to prepare yourself, but he looks cool, has his Douche-ish antics and i do like his Pokémon.
Cynthia, by far. She's not just a cool character and a very hot woman. She's also one of two Champions that doesn't has a prevalent Type in her Team, and the only in-game Trainer in the entire series to have 31 IVs on all her Pokémon's Stats. Everyone else's Pokémon, including other Champions, all have 0 IVs. She's easily the best of them all.
Everyone else is just not as cool.GaryBlue was a great surprise back in the days, and has great Team variety due to being a Rival, not to mention being the other one without focus on some Types, but he falls short to Cynthia's greatness and of course, gender.Lance is just pathetic, and his original/first Team reeks of repetition. Not as cool a characters as... all others either. Wallace is the second worst, being completely Monotype and only aided by using the single most varied Type out there. I might be biased, but I don't like the flamboyant type too much, and was a step back from Steven.
Steven and Adeku are along the same line. They're both pretty cool characters in design and personality, and though their Teams just fall short in variety when compared with Blue or Cynthia, at least they don't use the same Pokémon three times, or are completely Monotypes. I'm yet to see how Adeku fares, but seems to have the most involvement alongside Cynthia. Perhaps even the same 31 IVs deal. Steven was great in 3rd Gen, though. If only he could be rebattled in Emerald...
Of course, even if Adeku is cool as hell, he can't compare to a cool as hell sexy woman, as is Cynthia.![]()
Is that so ~
Cynthia has some really dumb moments in Platinum. Many times she sends you on an errand and turns up exactly where you went after you finish the errand. Do those errands yourself woman!
Fist, its the Psyduck Blockade. She gives you the Secret Potion and tells you to use it on the Psyduck. When you do that, she turns up there and asks you to deliver a charm to her Grandmother in Celestic. Her own Grandmother. When you do that, she turns up in Celestic as well. She comes to the Distortion World but does nothing even though she coud have curbedstomped Cyrus without our help. The entire freaking Universe is in danger of going kaboom. This is no time to let a kid do all the work.
This Guy lost is completely when she turned up in Celestic. Play from 6:05.
Cynthia is easily one of the most poorly written characters in Pokemon and all of her scenes in Platinum are that games weakest points.
