Thread: Favorite player characters?

Which of the main series player characters are your favorites? Personally, I like Hilbert, Hilda, and Ethan.

by how he looked at the time i played the game, I say Ethan (gsc).

Kris is missing. She's my favorite for being the first girl!
My other favorites are Leaf, May, and Hilda.

Definitely Hilda, with Lyra as my second favorite.

But the poll doesn't include Kris, the first female player character ever. She's one of my favorites, too.

Hm... I just replaced her with Lyra... I wonder if editing the poll resets it...

My favorites are Lyra, Dawn, and Rosa. I think Rosa's hair is adorable (actually, I think she's just overall adorable), and Dawn's outfit is cute (even though her Platinum outfit is completely unsuitable for winter -- who would wear a skirt that short, really?), and Lyra.. I'm not sure why I like her so much, but she just sticks out in a pleasant way to me.

I like Hibert because BW are my favorites and he looks so American. Same with Hilda (and shes cute =3), I like Ethan because HG was my first main series, and he has excellent hair.

Depending on how good the PC's sprite looks (which is the criteria by which I make my choice in every game), I'd say my favorite is Lucas in his Platinum outfit.

I like all the male player characters, Nate and Pt!Lucas being my current favorites.

Favorite Male: Ethan. Just like his style and the way his character looks, plus that's the first game I played and he was the main character.

Favorite Female: Kris, maybe. She looks pretty cool as well. And she has blue hair. Blue is my favourite colour!

Ethan is my favourite and Hilbert and Nate tie at second.

Hilda and Rosa are my favorites. I love the tough, confident, tomboy look Hilda gives off, but Rosa is so adorable!

...I'm not really all that crazy about the male PCs. But out of them, I probably like (Platinum) Lucas the best. I feel like I'm in the minority on that one...=/

I voted for everyone except Ethan, Brendan, and Lucas. I would have voted for Kris as well since she was the first girl you could play as. Ah the memories~

If I had to pick just one character of each gender, I'd go with Hilbert and Hilda based purely on design/style. (Since that's all we really have to go on.)

Though if we're counting Red in GSC/HGSS when you're not controlling him, I'll go with him over Hilbert. Fun battle with epic music.

Red, because he doesn't fade into obscurity after the player finishes the game. We actually find out what he became. He transcends his PC role. His story is also quite enjoyable.
-His Gen II/IV sprite is badass.

-While other champions give long speeches on friendship, peace and similiar blah, Red is the most eloquent: he just says "... ..." When he loses, he says "...!" Those ellipsis have more depth than the entirety of Cynthia's senile statements.

I was personally amazed by the B/W characters Hilbert and Hilda, the characters that are dressed mostly like teens ACTUALLY dress, seriously. Other than that, I liked Dawn's Platinum outfit and Ethan. The only characters I can say I DISLIKE to a degree is Nate and Rosa, visors and weird hair for both... It's not a strong dislike, just my least favorite if I had to pick.
