Hmm... Base Customization, Berry Growing and Pokémon Capturing, all available to do on the internet while I do my regular browsing, and the last two will effectively transfer over to Black/White. I like the idea already. Hopefully they don't cut the feature like they did to the E-mail GTS notifications from Platinum, though I doubt they'd do it with an entire gameplay aspect.

I really hope they incorporate WPA settings onto this game considering that they have some DSi-exclusive features. Shame not to considering that I don't feel like lowering my security settings every time I want to play.

Then again, I don't pick up my games for long periods sometimes and it would be cool to just pawn a Pokemon up there for awhile.

It's a website. So you'll need a connection to reach it. Are you thinking of something like downloadable software?

So the secret base and berry growing functions have been moved online? Niiiiiiiice.

On the abilities aspect i believe that some pokémon may be given an extra ability, thats only available to them if caught in the dream world. Not sure if all pokémon will receive such a luxury, or in deed be available in the dream world.

As for old pokémon in the dream world, I don't see these pokémon as being able to be caught until after the national pokédex is obtained. It has been stated a couple of times, as well as being rather obvious that the designers want to give the fandom a carté blanché so that newcomers and veterans to the games can enjoy the new series just as much as each other. I doubt that within this new system they would make old pokémon accessible for the minimum 15-20 hours of gameplay before the Elite 4.

Most probably but i hope not.

I strongly enjoy this idea. I'm on the computer much more often than I'm on my DS, so this raises the chance of me playing the games.

Think about how far they could go with this!

I want Houndour to be obtainable early on in the Dream World. Poor thing seems like it would be great for ingame use, but the earlist it has been obtainable is 1:Fairly early in XD 2:Before the 8th gym in Platinum. Every other time it has always been post-credits only.


I think the following abilites for dream world pokes would be neat.

Articuno:Snow Warning
Moltres:Drought
Zapdos:Drizzle
Dratini line: Thick Fat.
Houndour:Intimidate
Charmander:Magic Guard (Take that stealth rock!)
Suicune: Something that makes electric damage null/neutral ("pure water", as it is associated with via the Pokedex, is a pretty poor conductor)

Interesting thing to note. Munna was not the mascot of the dream world until after the feature was created.

I don't really know either, so I'd like to find out too.

But I figured that it would be similar to the main games in that we've have different locations to walk around in (some dream world screens do show us walking around with direction arrows on the screen) and each location would be home to different pokemon and that every pokemon could be found in one of the locations.

That's the impression I got...

I don't think many people really got to play it, so you'll probably have to wait until monday for any definate answers. I know it is something I definately want to find out. If it is anything like the Daisuki Club games, then they probably have a section for each type to explore, but judging from looking at the contest, I'd guess some pokemon are more limited than others, so we may see certain types more rare than others, or I wonder if we only get to see the basic stage pokemon.
