Ah. I knew DBZ Sparking Neo wouldn't last long in the top spot. I heard it's kind of lackluster when compared even to the previous game Sparking game (and definitely compared to the last game in the Budoukai series) from DBZ fans who actually imported it.

Good to see Diamond back in the top spot, anyway. =)

That's a pretty severe drop, though I hear shortages are to blame - hopefully DP will pick it back up as we get closer to the holidays. With launch behind them, DP has a bit of a ways to go to catch up to RS.

Hrm. I wonder why a kanji testing game is selling so well? That would be akin to a DS version of the OED taking #4 in sales.

I'd imagine it's selling for the same reason that games like Brain Age and the Japanese/English dictionaries sell well.

Actually, I'll have to look that Kanji testing game up myself now. If it's not too hard to understand the workings of the game, I could perhaps use it for revision.

If they released an authorised OED as a DS cart, it would do *extremely* well. Maybe not #4 in America, though...

I could do with a copy of that myself. Especially if it has a pronounciation feature (I'm assuming it does). May have to look at an import once I get my DS.

No. The 漢字そのままDS 楽引き辞典 does not have a spoken pronunciation key. (The pronunciation key is in kana.) You have to remember, the target market for that particular piece of software is not the foreign learner market but the Japanese domestic market. Entering unknown kanji by drawing it is probably its best selling point.
