Pikachu in every generation
In Gen1 I prefer the Red/Green sprites to the Blue and US-release sprites.
Overall I think the sprites are okay. Though I prefer "Static" sprites, rather than the animated ones, tbh. An entry animation is fine, but having them bounce around like someone gave them too much Coffee the entire fight is annoying to me.
Houndoom's HG/SS and B/W sprite. Its snout just looks weird, especially compared to the very nice looking Platinum sprite.
Then of course the endless amount of weird looking R/B sprites...although almost every Yellow sprite looks immaculate to be honest.
Off the top of my head, the only sprite I really dislike is HGSS Mewtwo. It's so ridiculous and goofy, like he's saying "look at how far I can stretch my arm! :D"; the DPPt sprite is WAY more badass and worthy of the most powerful Psychic Pokemon ever.
Charizard for instance... he looks like Puff the Magic Dragon. And Mew looks odd. Kind of cool but not a Mew if you ask me.)
One beef I got is the Red/Blue Koffing... what gives? That's obviously not an early design (because it was correct in Red/Green) and it's not an updated design because Koffing doesn't look like that.
Also, Red/Blue Mewtwo. He's all hunched over and looks hideous. Maybe they were trying to portray that he is a "monster", but that's not what he looks like.
Another beef I have... in every game starting with Generation II (and even the newer official art), Mew and Mewtwo are the wrong color. Mew is way too pink and Mewtwo is way too dark (except in Generation III Mewtwo is alright). In the older art and the anime, they are almost completely white and sometimes shown with a slight tint, but it's not all that extreme. And in my opinion the new colors just look bad.

I do like the constantly moving sprites in BW and how they actually close their eyes when they sleep. And it's nice how when the pokemon is under a status condition, the sprite's movement slows down(and stops when frozen).
But what i have a problem with is the fact that pokemon jump in their sleep. it looks like they're jumping iiiinnn slllloooooow-moooo....
also flying pokemon still fly in their sleep. they should have the pokemon's sprite change when they sleep for some pokemon, so that some pokemon just stay on the ground as an almost-static sprite with a few frames of slow animation to give the illusion that it's breathing.

Mightyena's BW sprite really annoyed me, it looked so small and fat, and not the cunning, agile wolf that it should be. :c
azurill in BW. the poor baby looks so sad! the first time i saw one in the wild, i kinda thought i was in for a creepy pasta. why else would somehting so cute and loveable be all sad face? D:

I have problem with that details have been removed from sprites after Gen I, and I think the Super Game Boy colours look better than the colours used on the DS. I have no problem with the Pokemon animations, just the attack animations.

I'm sort of creeped out by Mew in pokemon green version. It just.... doesn't look right....
And I do like the Super Game Boy colors, but as a style thing. I don't think that they're "better" than Generation V.
Meganium's back sprite in B/W makes it look retarded.
