Thread: Do you ride your bike anymore in HG/SS?

I still ride them a lot, just as in my previous games. The only times I forget to use it is inside caves, because now each time you climb a ladder you dismount it and sometimes I forget to mount it again.

Although I agree, this time is less necessary now that you run automatically.

Actually I do still use the bike about as often as before. I'm really happy with the automatic running thing though, it was awesome at the beginning of the game and continues to be awesome indoors and stuff.

I hardly ride my bike in heart gold even when I rode everywhere on my bike in d/p/pt. Its weird but I think it has to do with the sticky run and the fact that the pokemon follow you when you run and not on your bike.

I just enjoyed my pokes following me all around :)

I've been using the bike much less than previous games because you don't have to hold B to run anymore. I also like seeing my Pokemon running behind me as well.

I always use the bike due to the music it makes. But, the speed it goes at in HGSS is kinda annoying to control.

I don't find the bike hard to control. It's rather easy. And I do love the bike music.

I don't use my bike, cos I like seeing my Pokémon follow me. It's cute seeing my Pokémon chase me. Plus, the 'noneedtoholdBtorun' option is handy, so I don't need to use a bike.

No, not anymore. The main reason is of course a following Pokémon, which is like the cutest thing ever made in a Pokémon game :3. And I've always disliked using bike, because of those annoying cycling musics. I also really enjoy about those "auto-running shoes", it's just fast enough for me.

This. I just can't decide which of the four songs is better. Depends on the weather I think (have you ever played these melodies when actually riding a bike? I have, and it's very funny)

I love what they did with the running in this game.

The bike helps sometimes.

Well if you want some speed with hatching eggs I suggest Cycling Road while having a Magby on the team
