Thread: Do you ride your bike anymore in HG/SS?

I actually WALK everywhere. I know, right? My Togetic is pretty slow and it doesn't like me when I run. I think it might acutally make a difference, my first Togepi evolved at level 25, but I ran everywhere and didn't talk to it. My second one (current one) evolved at level 11, and I talked to it often and walked to most places. Walking DOES seem a lot faster in this game though.

I haven't got the game yet (stupidly it ALWAYS comes out in Britain late), but I'll only use my bike when I abosloutely need to, because I'd prefer to see my pokémon following me.

I use the bike about the same as I did in the other Gen IV games, which is when I am trying to get somewhere quickly since it is slightly faster than the shoes. The auto-run option is handy, though.

Less, but I still do it sometimes just to hear the awesome Bike music.

I still do ride the bike sometimes. Just not as much.

I've found myself hardly using the bike at all, just when I'm in a super hurry, which is strange since it might as well be grafted to my legs in other games.
Then again, I guess it's not so strange considering the autorun and how one's lead follows oneself around.

I'm not up to that point in the game yet, but I doubt I will. Like lots of people said, in other games, I live on the bike, as soon as I step out of a building I jump on. But with the running toggled now, I don't think I will. You run pretty fast.

I don't use the bike a lot anymore since we have the auto running thing.
I still ride the bike sometimes for the music lol.

I use it a lot less than before because I enjoy having my Pokémon follow me.

Like many people have stated already... I do not use the bike much any more as the running shoes can be used without holding "B" button. And I like seeing my pokemon following me around.

Up to the point I played, yeah. High speed movement beats a gimmick any day.

Yeah I also like my Pokemon to walk right behind me also. But I use it if I need to get to a place faster.

You know, I actually noticed earlier I was barely using the bike. I use it a little bit, but definitely not like I do in past games. I have no idea why. When I first got it, I was like, "Heck yeah! Finally a bike!" and then I just forgot all about it. Running is decently fast I suppose, and having your Pokemon walk with you is nice, but I don't think either of these is a conscious reason for me. I really have no idea why.

I just went through Goldenrod whiteout getting the Bike, yes I know where to find it, so I guess I wont be using it a lot :P

Come to think of it, I may not have rode it yet... But yeah, why ride a bike if you can have your Pokemon following you around? n_n
