I caught a Ditto with a Luxury Ball. I wanted to treat that Ditto RIGHT. Also I needed to get rid of it xD

I still have no signature.

I usually just use Ultra Balls or Dusk Balls, Depending on the situation.

I always try to use Luxury Balls because I think they look cooler then the rest.
I often use specialty balls. Got a few with Heal Balls, Dusk Balls, Quick Balls, and Timer Balls. I only resort to Luxury Balls if the particular 'mon evolves with friendship.

I love using the other types of Poke Balls. I hate the standard red/white type, I just find them too weak and boring. I admit, I was a bit shocked to find out several years later that Great Balls and Ultra Balls were not as strong as I thought they were (I thought they had a catch rate of x2 and x4, respectively), but I still prefer them over Poke Balls, and use them often. I absolutely love Quick and Dusk Balls, they just make it so fun (plus their release animations are cool, especially the Dusk Ball), and Repeat Balls make it more helpful when I need to catch a certain Pokemon again. Heck, Heal Balls are more common in my pack vs. standard Poke Balls, and they have the same catch rate (though a much more useful effect). Plus I just like a little variety with my team's Poke Balls, and they look awesome in the 3D games (PBR, for example). So, yeah, I prefer to use the other types of Poke Balls vs. standard ones. To me, they're worth the extra money if it means I have a better chance at catching a Pokemon I like or want, along with the cosmetic difference.
Oh, Cynthia. Where for art thou Cynthia? Heheh. Seriously, where are you!?
Favorite Characters/Creatures (not in order): Ryu 3, Nina 3, Ratchet, Talwyn, Angewomon, MagnaAngemon, Van, Fiona, Blaziken, Gardevoir, Ophanimon, Absol, Lilithmon, Digmon, Princess Pride, Elecman.exe, Submarimon, Bit Cloud, Patamon, Princess Peach, LadyDevimon, Angemon Nerfertimon, Garchomp, Gliscor, Floatzel, T.K., Kari, Torterra, Gigadramon, Lillymon, WarGreymon, Gaogamon, and Rei.
I normally use Pokeballs or Ultraballs.
I have used the others not because I wanted to but because I had no choice. sometimes I'll make the mistake of running low on Pokeballs and forgetting to replenish my supply, so I run out. Along the way a Pokemon I want to capture appears, so I have to look at the Pokeball bag and see what is available and might be useful for that specific Pokemon.
I love them sea-otter Pokemon! I also love 'em weasel and cat Pokemon.
Top 5 favorite Pokemon in order - All sea-otters: Dewott, Buizel, Oshawott, Samurott, & Floatzel!
I also like: Mienfoo, Mienshao, Watchog, Zangoose, Linoone, Furret, Purrloin, Liepard, & Persian
I like to use Nest Balls and Repeat balls at times for catching low level Pokemon and when chaining.
The ones I use most are:
Repeat Ball: when I'm trying to catch a different gender of a Pokémon I've already got in my Pokédex (usually for breeding purposes)
Timer Ball: usually on legendary Pokémon if it's taking forever to catch by other means
Net Ball: on wild Water- and Bug-type Pokémon I come across
Dive Ball: handy while Surfing
Quick Ball: can't hurt to throw one and try my luck! Especially since the catch rate is 5× in BW and BW2, up from 4× in previous games
Dusk Ball: I almost always play Pokémon on a night time, so yeah, Dusk Balls are my first port of call unless I have a more specialised ball that has a higher catch rate
i used a luxury ball to capture reshiram. friendly reeshiram!!! :D
Claimed the Expert Belt as of 1/8/13!
I like using dusk and net balls for their increased catch rate though it is situational at times. At the beginning of every capture attempt I always open up with a quick ball because it has a high rate if used on turn 1 and I really have nothing to lose by doing that since they become useless right after. In HGSS I frequently used love balls for their incredible catch rate and since I keep genders in my party even between male and female. I also used heavy balls at times for snorlax and legendaries since most (especially Groudon) weigh a ton and have high catch rates as a result.
Screw the rules I have a Mudkip Motorcycle!
Generally not, though I did use a Heal Ball in Pinwheel Forest on White, when most of my team were on low health to avoid going back to the Pokemon Centre. I didn't realise until after Twist Mountain that Doctors and Nurses heal Pokemon.
I reserve the right to randomly sign my messages.
My 3rd Medalist Pokemon was Magikarp, and it earned that position alone with no other species.
I have too many Bouncekarp.

Dusk and Ultra balls are the only ones worth using most of the time. I still never figure out when to use my master ball in any game.

Occasionally. I just throw whatever I have in my bag, unless I want to actually use the pokemon. I.E quickball on a Joltik, due to matching color schemes, or a dusk ball on a dark type.
This is my totally awesome Emerald Team!!!
