Claimer of Garchomp
The games formats have been cracked, meaning we understand the new file type they use to store the statistics for each Pokemon in this generation. We do not know yet how to decompile the completed files in said format, or how to access anything else in the game, yet. So it's 'cracked' on only the most basic level.
I actually kind of enjoy this time of uncertainty. First time since Gen 1 I've been able to really wonder what's hidden in the games and go into it with the feeling that there are still secrets to be uncovered, complete will silly playground-style rumors about the legendaries, the ghost girl, etc.
But in general, I like to be able to choose the team I want to travel with. For example in Platinum, I had a Shaymin hatch from an egg but with the Event Flag on so it could still transform, that was all thanks to my AR.
In Black when I wanted Victini and had missed the event, I could get the Liberty Pass thanks to my AR.
In HGSS when I found out they had removed the GS Ball event, I could battle a Level 30 Celebi in Ilex Forest thanks to my AR and also was able to catch my Phanpy and Houndour early on so they could be in my team.
In any games where I wanted to face the gyms out of order, or anything to do with walk through walls, I could, thanks to my AR.
All that has been taken from me in XY. I want to catch a Noivern but can't til Victory Road, my brother wants Charizard X, but can't as I didn't pick Charmander (I have X he has Y so none of us have Charizardite X)
For me Action Replay is a way to enhance the games to make them more enjoyable, to allow me to play my game how I want, I can see why checks need to be in place, so that someone doesn't trade their Lv 1 Shiny Dialga with 31 Ivs to someone I hate ott fakes like that too, but allowing me to catch a Houndour in the Burned Tower in Ecruteak does not harm anyone elses experiences, but does improve mine.
But I guess using AR or not just comes down to preference. I for stopped using it after using it all throughout Gen IV, while I know others who use it all the time.
Oh, and you can still buy the Charzaridinite.
The friend code and name on my trainer card is for my Nintendo 3DS, and should be used for communications via Pokemon X and Y
Nintendo ID - AmphiGamer
Yes Houndour is in HGSS but not until the very end, near Pallet Town in Kanto, so not much use if I want to use it throughout the story, same with Noivern in X and Y.
Also as mentioned before, I don't have wifi my family is too poor so an Action Replay with Pokesav is the only way I can download event files and put them on my Ar.
I'm surprised nobody here thought of this already.
The game is hard to hack, easier to hide stuff in.
So here's my theory:
My YouTube Vids (Pokémon White 2, Randomized Emerald and soon Platinum)
-Why don't use Pokémon who you like instead of powerful ones? You'll have fun in every battle and winning gives more satisfaction!
What do Diancie, Hoopa and Volcanion mean? Well, there's volcano...
So how exactly does Game Freak know when the right ID appears? What if the person never knows there is anything different or goes online? Seems kind of stupid for Game Freak to plan the release of their events based on one person getting lucky.
Secret event legendaries aren't exactly a new thing....I don't see why they'd handle it any differently now than they did in the past.
