Thread: Diamond, Pearl, or Platinum?

I'd have to say Diamond, because it's the only one out of the 3 I owned.
I can't afford to get every single game that comes out /=
Maybe sometime I'll get Platnuim.

Platinum, hands down. More features, more pokemon, more storyline detail, and better game refinement all help to make it the definitive version out of the 4th gen's inaugural trio.

Platinum, hands down. More content overall than D/P, no reason to like them more.

It's a hard choice. I own Pokemon Platinum And I thought it was a pretty good game. So I'm going to go with Platinum.

Definitely Platinum. Improved features, Battle Frontier and new Pokemon forms.

Platinum has:
- 60 More Pokémon in the Sinnoh Dex.
- Distortion World
- Battle Frontier.
- New formes for Rotom, Giratina and Shaymin.
- Articuno, Zapdos, Moltres, Regice, Regirock, Registeel
- Wi-Fi Plaza.
- Global Terminal (GTS Upgrade, yay!).
- Expanded Team Galactic Plot.
- Distortion World.

Diamond / Pearl has:
- Better Sprites
- A Pokémon that looks like a dong on the cover of PEARL version.

I guess Platinum wins.

I hear you on that. Platinum Had a a lot more than the others.

Platinum, hands down. (is this a new meme? o3o) My first Shinnoh game, plus I was literally the first person in Anchorage, Alaska, to get her hands on Pokemon Platinum. The plot had a huge impact on me, for serious. Is truly the best game so far. I can't wait to see if Gen V can outshine Platinum...

I saw the trailer for Platinum on youtube and I loved the features on it. And it's been one of my favorites since.

it is whatever game you play first... because the other one sucks because it feels like a waste.

- Floors of cities redisined.
- animated sprites for pokemon and special trainers like you and barry.
- gyms redesined.
- most importanly, battle zone is tropical.

Platinum, hands up? The only version I own of the 3 is Diamond, since I'm poor--but I've seen my friend play Platinum, and I used to transfer my shards/Pokemon to his Platinum whenever I wanted to teach them moves... the graphics look really nice, up-to-date, and it may just be an expanded, newer, nicer-looking version of D/P, but it's just that--more--so I'm going to have to go with Platinum, obviously. If you ask me, it was basically inevitable that 99% of the people here were going to say that.
