Am I the only one who has experienced some sort of a shocking moment in a Pokemon battle after underestimating the opponent's Pokemon? In my case, it happened when I underestimated Emmet's Durant. Holy shit, that thing is FAST and STRONG 0_o

Happened to me with Ghetsis's Cofagrigus in White, the one I was kinda worried about, Hydreigon, was relatively easy.

Am I the only one who wants a R/S remake, yet didn't go through an insane rant after Gen VI was announced?

Not really, I'm on the fence with them. Some I really like - I like the Lake Trio - but most, I'm not that fond of them.

Nope. It happened to me on Route 20 in Black 2 against some NPC's level 11 Dunsparce. That thing was a monster. It kept using Defense Curl and Rollout.

Nope. I really dislike using them. The only legendaries I like are pretty much Mewtwo and Groudon.


Am I the only one who finds it really cheap to use healing items like Revive or Full Restore in battles? I only use them before and after battles if I have to and if I'm losing a battle then I'd rather lose it than use healing items.

Probably not, although Pokemon is one of the best video game series in history music-wise, so I don't see why anyone would.

I'll use revives and full restores in battles if I have to, but I feel very cheap doing so. I had to use several revives and full restores against Blue in the post-Sevii Elite Four recently, I beat him, but it felt like a very shallow victory that I didn't particularly deserve.

On the subject of items, am I the only one who saves all their HP/PP restorers and status healing items for emergencies or special occasions (e.g. the Elite Four)? If If one of my Pokemon get status inflicted, severely weakened/knocked out or run short on PP I'll return to the nearest Pokemon centre rather than use an item.

No, I think it's terribly ironic that legends are built up to be so unique and rare, yet in the community they're probably the least unique, and most common to encounter.

Am I the only one who doesn't want a Pokemon game with all of the regions? If there is one thing Gen II showed us is that games have limited space. If people want a Pokemon game with all of the regions, graphics is going to be the biggest sacrifice.

I don't think Eevee's new evolution is hideous, but it does seem very feminine for a Pokemon with a gender ratio of 87.5% of being male.

Ugh, no. I do not find Sylveon cute. Its eyes are disconcerting, and the design is far too flowy for my taste. Any living creature shouldn't have that many ornaments and bow-things.

Definitely not. Even though the graphics thing doesn't seem like it's still going to be an issue (3DS cartridges can hold more content, and any new Pokémon game is obviously going to be on the 3DS), I still don't want it. I'm okay with only two regions, but six? "Pokémon: Full Version! With all of the pokémon and all of the regions! Catch all 700+ pokémon! Battle 48 gyms! Battle all 6 E4s! Battle 6 Champions! Haha Pokémon fans, you wanted this, now play it and try to survive!"

Isn't it going to be really exhausting?! It's going to be one hell of a clusterfuck.

Am I the only one who wants more things to do in the Dream World? Searching for pokemon with hidden abilities is fun, but apart from growing berries and decorating your house, there's barely anything much to do...?

Am I the only one who wants to bring back Pokemon contests for gen VI? And on that note, am I the only one that finds contests fun to do in the games OR fun to watch in the anime?
Contests were at least something for May and Dawn to do, instead of having some goal that never goes anywhere like Iris.

Am I the only one around here who doesn't like that some of the Black and White 2 in-game soundtracks have words in them and find them annoying.

I don't know, I've never played Black 2 or White 2.

Am I the only one who really likes a move because of its animation rather than for its effect? In my case it's for both. I really like Psychic because of the animation it had in Stadium 1 and 2, and because it's very powerful.

Not at all. I personally hate the Poison-type gym soundtrack the most.

Am I the only one who has no trouble with the Gym Leaders, but always ends up under-leveled at the Elite Four?
