Thread: Your favorite poison pokemon

I realized that there are quite many of them even though I´ve never considered poison as my favourite type. (Maybe it´s because many grass types have poison as their secondary type).
So, considering only primary typing, I would probably go with Golbat and the Koffing line (maybe close with all the poison snakes and than there´s also Trubbish, which is usually so hated I must like it :) )

Pure Poison: The Nido- family. They are a pretty different and good take on a poisonous animal, rather than your usual snakes and stinging bugs.

Primary Poison: I'm surprised there are so little. Toxicroak's line is pretty clever and original, it really is recognizable as it's own creature.

Secondary Poison: There are far too many, most being part grass and part bug... On the other hand, I generally dislike those type combinations. They seem just too simple to me. So, skimming over them:
Venusaur's line is great and probably of my favorites. Vileplume is good too.
Spinarak is adorable, and Ariados is cool, I guess.
Roserade is a great Grass type, and Scolipede manages to be good despite it just being another Bug/Poison

Koffing is my favorite poison type by far! He's so cute and happy and he's my favorite color, purple!

As for dual types, I tend to like ones that combine it with Grass. Probably Vileplume (because it's based on rafflesia, which are pretty weird and cool) or one of the Roselia family, because I'm biased when it comes to roses for obvious reasons.

Probably Roserade. Turns out I'm not overly fond of Poison-types, which is not something I was not aware of until I looked at the list of them to choose my favourite. Roserade is and always has been a favourite of mine though: I like Grass-types and it has an elegant feel to it, plus it's soo strong. I used one many a time in Diamond and Platinum and it was a brilliant team member. It also gave the forgettable Roselia something to make it memorable, so well done Roserade.

poison Pokemon haven't appealed to me in any way, Roserade was the only poison Pokemon I ever used in the video games and tcg
the only time I used it was during rentals in the Battle Frontier

It's toss up between happy, friendly Muk who I have a figurine of, or the cool-looking Nidoqueen/king.

Grimer, Crobat, Ivysaur, Koffing, Nidoking. Just to name my top 5.
