Thread: Worst and best names

Worst: Mr. Mime, Electrode.

Best: Giratina, Lugia, Azelf, Mespirit, Uxie, Dialga, Palkia, Arceus, Articuno, ANY of the Eveelutions, Electvire, Magnezone, Darkrai

Worst: Lickilily, Probopass, Mr. Mime, Muk, Zapdos, Magneton, Manectric

Meganium is the best. It just sounds cool.

The worst is Mr. Mime, no explanation needed.

Best:Victreebel

the worst names ever Ekans and Arbok i mean it is Snake and kobra backwards.

I hate Gastrodon, it reminds me of Gastroenteritis.

Mr. Mime is pretty lazy, Chingling sounds slightly racist...

Ninetales is too "Captain Obvious", I like the Pokemon, but the name...uhh..not really.

Eh, I don't think there are any that are terrible.

The eeveelutions are cool, as are many of the dragons. And Nidoking. I don't care what a nido is, but he's king of them.

Seel. It sounds exactly like "Seal" and feels like the latter word rather than a new name on its own.

But the best...too many to count. A lot of them are awesome. :)

That is exactly what makes the names awesome.

Best: Dialga, gallade, gardevoir
Worst: Giratina, Ho-oh, porygon 2

Probopass is pretty darned horrible.

Worst: Mr. Mime, most of the Eeveelutions (they'd be better if Eevee had been called Eon as originally intended, but Leafeon is just pathetic), Probopass, the legendary dogs, Seel, Haunter (again, lazy), others.

Best-Worst: Farfetch'd.

Best: Hitmonchan & Lee (for the Jackie Chan/Bruce Lee connection), Arceus, Darkrai, Sudowoodo (took me forever to get it), Marshtomp, Crawdaunt. Spoink.

Bestestest: Sharpedo.

Good names that deserve to be attached to cooler Pokémon: Gloom. Gorebyss.

Cool pokemon that deserve better names: Shellos and Gastrodon.

Names that'd be better with another letter: Feraligatr. Vespiquen.

Worst name is definately magikarp, there's nothing magic about it

Lickilicky is beast! ( at haters)

But I'm not a fan of Geodude. The name is perfect for the pokemon and it's witty, but I just don't like it.

Yeha i reckon Giratina do sound very powerful, but as a joke I named it Tina Gira. Now it sounds like a regular girl ^^
