1) Tauros (my still-all-time fav since gen 1)
2) vulpix (more than ninetails, its so cute)
3) pidgeot (too friggin' cool, i teach mine twister and heat wave for the dragons and steels so i can use it more often)
4) Squirtle (my fav water type, not sure why)
5) swellow (very sleek looking, and icy wind and heat wave help against dragons and steels)
6) leafeon (i always knew id love eevee's grass type evo, and leafeon didnt disappoint)
7) slowbro (huge fan of water types, and a lot of newer moves work better with its slower speed)
8) tentacruel (poison is my fav status infliction, and tentacruels got more power now with stornger water and poison moves, plus teaching it ice beam helps against dragons)
9) persian (i love kitties, not prissy ones like delcatty, but kinda evil ones, and normals leave a lot open for moves)
10) totodile (more than his evos, newest movepool is great, and he just looks funny)

Overall, gen 1 was the best.

My first six have been my FireRed team for the last three playthroughs. <3

I always have Ampharos when playing Gold, and a Snover and Pachirisu in Pearl (as well as switching between the two in Shadows of Almia), probably because they're so cute. Staryu... idky, I just have always loved Staryu. ^^
