I'd have to go for Kanto. Mainly because it was my first experience of a Pokemon region and I guess I'm just a sucker for sentimentality.
You can imagine how hyped I got when I found out from a friend that you went back there in Gold/Silver.
Hoenn, because there seems to be more of a variety of types of cities.
i love all the regions but i gotta go with Hoenn
its so unique and sapphire is one of my favorits games
If Orange Islands were an option, mine would be Orange Islands and Hoenn.
Stay. Away. From. My. Cookie.
I like Sinnoh and Kanto. Sinnoh because of cities like Snowpoint and Sunyshore. Kanto because it was the original.
Same as K-B-K. Sinnoh holds a place in my heart for being the first region I played in, and Kanto for being the first region of the anime, which I watched religiously as a child, along with many other cartoons.
Johto. It was where the best games took place. Where the best pokemon battle (IMO Gary vs. Ash) took place. My favorite pokemon are from Johto and its connected to Kanto and gives you the ability to travel there easily. I spent more time on the gen. 2 games than on any of the others and Johto holds a special place in my heart, as do Kanto for being my first region and Hoenn for being visually the most beautiful region.
Stuck between Unova and Hoenn @_@
Black City is just sheer epicness, but Hoenn is just brain busting awesomeness
BLARGH X_X I have to say Hoenn though

...And so the elegant night vanquished the morning sun...
My first is Hoenn. I'd watched the anime since about mid-Johto, but Hoenn was the first game I played. Ruby and Sapphire are kind of like my Red and Blue!
Sinnoh is great too, I loved the chillier climate, how vast it seemed, and how it could be both desolate AND welcoming.
I am surprised that Sinnoh is last... :O
