Thread: What's Your Favorite Pokemon Region?

Hoenn. It's a beautiful region with a diverse landscape. I also love the cities in Hoenn and the interesting Pokemon.

Kanto because it is the first region that I have explored and my favorite pokemon is there. But Hoenn is a close second, due to its unique landscape and the Contest.

Hoenn is my favorite. Unova seems great but i'll have to wait for the games to come out before i can tell if i like it better than the humid, tropical hoenn. Hoenn just has it all! from a city inside a big rock, mythological underwater braille puzzles, to all kinds a of side islands accesible through events, an island that dissapears and reappears, to deep, traversable water paths.

My favorite is Hoenn. It was my first region I played through! I also loved the BGM in it!

Sinnoh is the best!

Hoenn just feels so much more... alive than the other regions. Kanto and Johto were fine, but kinda sparse. Sinnoh felt drab and a little forced. And I haven't had the opportunity to check out Isshu yet. T.T

Hoenn. It's pleasing to the eye (bright, laid back), fun to explore, has colorful, neat Pokemon, has creative cities, and Dive can be fun.

I loved Johto because it was large and fun to explore and was essentially two regions in one, because Kanto was easily accesible.

^^ yes, but we are analyzing the region by itself, not if another region is acessible, because it deviates from the former region.

for me it was a tie between Hoenn and Johto, but when Unova came, it became my favorite because of the great diversity of areas in it, and also i found the Pokémon there to be amazingly creative, and now Hoenn is the seecond and Johto is the third.

Hoenn. Ruby was the first game I played

Hoenn is where I'm from. I started there. Plus, naturally most of my favorite Pokemon are from Hoenn, like Altaria.

This is simply too ironic. x)

Hoenn is the region that you hear the most crap about, and how "large amounts of the fans left Pokemon" because of those games, yet it's easily beating the other regions.

That has a lot to do with the general decline in Gen III hatred as well as growing nostalgia for it.

How ironic .

Johto , the region which was most loved , got beat by Hoenn , the region which was the most hated .

Hoenn was the most hated , now everyone loves it. It switched positions with Johto , now Hoenn overshadows the region it got overshadowed by . IRONY!!

I kind of like Unova and it is also very diverse (well personally the most diverse of all). Castelia City for example is very urban and crowded looking.

But personally, I love Hoenn. It has a laidback feel and more of a nature themed. It's based on my father's hometown after all, Kyushu. And I can remember the fresh and cool air from there. I love the route going to Fortree City.

I love Johto but I think the region is kind of smaller than the rest.
