Thread: What would your first Pokemon be?

either Aipom, Pikachu, Eevee (which Id evolve into Umbreon) or Oshawott

Even though its tempting to choose a legendary or non starter, i'd have to go with Squirtle.

Murkrow are beast! They're speed is nearly impossible to beat if only its evolved form had that kind of speed it'd be unstoppable!

That is such a hard question - squirtle in Kanto, Eevee in Johto, Duskull in Hoenn, Piplup in Sinnoh and Oshawott/Litwick in Unova. That's the only way I could answer that question!

I'd pick Chikorita. Obviously.

A growlithe, but that would mean no Close Combat for him since it requires breeding.

Charizard is a major ovious choice for me. charizard is my favourite pokemon, but id start as a lv 1 charmander just to get max training. he'd have flamethrower, blast burn, seismic toss and fly.

Ponyta. A Pokemon friend, fighter, and means of transport.

No worries your Pokemon could know any 4 moves you wanted like the person that gave you Growlithe could have breed it already and it knew Close Combat. Its your imagination and your starter, lol I love Growlithe too! When I saw it could learn Close Combat I couldn't believe it!!

I was thinking what if the anime did a combo-move of Extremespeed and Close Combat? Lucario and Growlithe could both us it the opponent wouldn't stand a chance!

I thought the same combo when I saw Lucario's move set, I though of Lucario fighting Dragon ball z style, it would be interesting to see how Growlithe/Arcanine does it though. If my ferroseed could start with leech seed and stealth rock then I'm all set.

Me too! Being a DB fan myself I see that in Pokemon at times like when two attacks collide or something lol

Hmm...I could see Arcanine hitting the opponent at blinding speed with its tail probably using some strong bite moves our slamming its paws on its opponent. Or like DBZ all you'll see are blinding moves that send the opponent reeling.

Sewaddle or Larvesta. The Bug-type is my favourite type, and Sewaddle's and Larvesta's evolutions are both beautiful and strong.
