Thread: What would you do with your Prize Money?

I'd build a house with rooms for my pokemon to train and sleep in, and spend the rest on comfort and items for my pokemon.

I'd build a house for myself in a forgotten island and then beat any trainer that gets 1km near my island.

I'd build a spaceship at Mossdeep so I could actually get jirachi.

Buy stuff from the PokéMart. Then get enough land to build a mansion, and a personal PokéCenter.

Buy a house, Then set up a room for battling.

You guys are being just slightly unrealistic.

Even if you wanted to do that in America, you'd need at least 40 or 50 million pyen. In Japan, about the same price for a suburban house, but if you want it downtown, it would probably the same as here, about 100 to 200 million.

Good luck trying to get that much in less than 6 months just by battling trainers. Even if your wallet can hold more than 999,999.


For that matter, if I actually somehow did manage to accumulate 40 million pyen, I'd probably build a house on an island somewhere too.

I'm prize money? Cool.

But I would buy property, and continue from there.

Horde it. Into the bank it goes. Just like all of my other monies.

Ummm, in the Pokemon games, you can earn 10,000 dollers per battle with the amulet coin. Not even mentioning the Elite Four and Champion, so no, we're not being unrealistic.

Okay, now for the real question, I would buy a mansion on an island in Sinnoh, and buy things like TM's and items to make my Pokemon awesome. Well, awesomer.

Those aren't dollars. Take the Platinum's villa stuff as a reference. How much costed that computer, 200.000? A good computer IRL costs about U$2.000, so I think Pokémoney currency value is closer to Yen than to dollar.

Still, you can rebattle E4, so you can still make profit.

What would I buy... A Wii, a 3DS, a laptop, a house/apartment, save to finish paying university... and if remains something, charity.

Build a giant stadium and host tournaments in order to have an endless stream of tough opponents to fight.

I think I would just do what Crasher Wake does, give some of my prize money to charity. Of course, I would need some for myself...

Buy a house, run a Pokemon shelter. Spoil everyone.

Ooh, I'd be battling often to get more money, 'cause I'd spend it all just like that. 8D; I'd buy every Pokemon plush doll in the world, and I'd commission those same doll makers to make dolls of Pokemon they haven't made dolls of yet. A Darkrai and Mewtwo doll, following my current obsession...

I'd finance the building project that old guy in Vermilion's been working on. D:
