Japanese all the way. Same with dubbing - it just feels better watching them in the original language. At least for me ;)

English for me, definitely. The big reason for this is simple: I am speaking the English language now, so it's only appropriate to use names of the same language I am using now. However, the names in other languages are also somewhat interesting too, like Sharknia (Korean) for Sharpedo. It's actually a good thing the Japanese name is not that common, because one, it's odd to hear people use Japanese in English (after the English names are announced), and besides, there are many romanisations on the same Japanese name that it's difficult to find the standard for some. Take Golurk's for example. You have Goruggo, Golug or Gorug.

I prefer the English names because I can appreciate their meanings a bit more easily. Sure, the Japanese names often SOUND cool but you can't exactly appreciate their meanings unless you're fluent in Japanese which some here are.

For the actual Pokemon names I'm more used to and prefer the English names.

Whenever I'm talking about the games, I use English names. Whenever I'm talking about the anime, I use Japanese names. I don't really have a preference for one or the other, although I suppose I know the English Pokémon names a bit better.

English names og course exluding Gen V I never needed to know them and they sound more natuaral to me then say Mijimaru... plus the Jap names of most of the GGen I Pokemon sucked ass... (Take Jolteon and Zaptos they had the SAME FUCKING NAME!!! Thunder and Thunders really?) all in al I'm more used to the english names (though I do sometimes slip up and call Audino Tubunne)

Depends on the character. Satoshi is an awesome name, but I far prefer Cilan over Dent. Also, with Pokemon, it's easier to go with the English names
Depends, on if I can pronnounce it. Sometimes, I find the Japanese names easier to pronounce than the English ones, for example, it's quite easy to pronounce Dento, but Cilan? Though he's pronounced Sigh-lan, I've always called him Sil-i-an. Yes, my pronnouncation is awful for having English as a vernacular language. And yes, I do pronounce Cilantro that way too.
And it depends in what context, if it's the games, I usually use the English ones, and sometimes, they are more inventive and amusing than the Japanese ones, eg. Gear versus Klink. Though neither are exactly the most creative, I still prefer Klink over to Gear in terms of creativity.
And, I play the games in English. I don't play them in Japanese.
In the Anime, I would go for the Japanese ones a bit more than the English ones, especially if they are in the most recent series.

Japanese names to some Pokemons but overall English names; easier to memorize.
The English names are easier to remember and pronounce, but I'll use the Japanese name if I hate the English one.

It doesn't matter too much to me. The Pokemon is the Pokemon regardless of what you call. There are few English names I rebel against (Ducklett, most notably), but then there are Japanese names I can barely pronounce. So it balances out eventually. I nickname everything anyway, so I don't even notice too much.
English names. They just make more sense to me.
I prefer the English names because they're easy to remember and simple
