A lot of birds tear up branches and leaves to make nests. Woodpeckers make holes in trees.
Here's one I just can't figure out. Bug Type is super-effective when attacking Psychic and Dark....WHY IS THIS SOOO?!
Keep on kicking butt, Yuzu!
Fighting is super-effective of dark types????????????
Explain to me how just hitting at the dark will make it fade away.
I don't get why grass has so many weaknesses. I used to like grass types, they had cool moves that steal energy or give status problems. But then I learned about all those type disadvantages...
Fire: they can be burned
Ice: Plants are killed by being frozen
Bug: Bugs eat plants
Poison: poisons kill them
Flying: Birds eat plants
Plants generally are venerable to a lot of things in nature.
Personally I thought of it as Dracula (dark) scared of a little inchworm (bug), now that I think about it, it doesn't make sense 8P
However, I never got how water is not super effective against steel ( because it rusts) and how dark/psychic combination types like Spiritomb and Sableye are resistant to everything. There are no types that are super effective against them >:(
Because Dark is known as the "evil" type in Japan, and a lot of Dark-type moves rely on dirty tricks and cheap shots (Sucker Punch, Fake Tears, Taunt, etc.)
Not only is there the corny "honorable warriors always defeat underhanded villains" thing, any well-trained martial artist should be able to recognize and counter the cheap shots made by a less-trained but pragmatic fighter.
