Thread: Theme songs for characters in the anime...

I don't mean what theme they have IN the anime. I mean what good song would make a good theme for certain characters? For example:


Ash: Killswitch Engage - This Fire Burns

Dawn: Saliva - Ladies and Gentlemen

Brock: Three Days Grace - Over and Over


And more. Anyone else have any ideas? Oh, and good songs only, please.

Brock--"Can't Get Enough Of It", ironically enough by Eric Stuart

Ash--the "Enterprise" theme song

For Ash, I always thought "On my way" by Phil Collins was a perfect fit.

Ugh, what an awful song. It doesn't fit Dawn at all.

A good song for either Ash or Dawn I think is "Time Stand Still" by Rush. Some the lyrics fit perfectly with their personalities and their journey and whatnot. For example, the opening verse:

I turn my back to the wind
To catch my breath before I start off again
Driven on without a moment to spend
to pass an evening with a drink and a friend

I think it fits at least, plus it's one of my favorite songs so maybe I'm a little biased.

Oooh I've always loved Faith of the Heart, ever since I heard it first in Patch Adams!

It can really fit just about anybody, but it's good for Ash.

At any rate, I picked that song because it fits her attitude about contests, and somewhat about herself, quite well. And besides, Dawn needs a song that isn't like those ridiculous pop songs.

My namesake would have some spanish song.

My old one, Butler, would probably have that "Do You Believe in Magic?" song for him.

Brock - Somebody to Love (Queen)

Harley - The Bitch is Back (Elton John)

Daisy/Lily/Violet - Popular (Wicked) - they could sing it to Misty. :D

Oh, and:


Croagunk: Linkin Park - Nobody's Listening

Ash: Faith of the Heart, or Bad Day

I think both songs fit him.


The writers make a lot of bad things happen to him, so he gets hurt quite often, that's why I think Bad Day is a good song for him. ^^

here is a couple that have not been done yet

Brock: Mambo Number 5, Lou Bega

Misty: Headstrong, Ashley Tisdale

Paul: Tech N9ne - The Beast


Because at least one character needs a rap song, and this fits.

I think James needs Barbie Girl by Aqua. Seriously...there's an AMV begging to be made there *wishes she had the skill or resources*
