That's exactly what I was thinking, except without the raping part. LOL.
In Black and White, Rock Smash is no longer an HM. Good riddance.

Oh yeah it's a thing to worry about. Why do you think Ash spends so much time away from home? There's a Mr. Mime there.

I think instead of a quote, I might just start listing the number of people whose signatures contain quotes by me. My goal is to be in ALL OF THEM.

You people keep applying human laws of this universe to another universe, and you keep applying those said laws to pokemon not in the context of being in thier own universe but ours.

That's true, we have no evidence saying that things are put too sleep for being too dangerous. Perhaps they're just put into Pokéballs and never released.

Or a ranger shows up and makes everything better. With friendship.

Would life with the possibility of parole be better for Pokémon?

Yeah, and PEOPLE aren't naturally evil, either (at least, not in the Pokemon world...) but they can murder. And since some Pokemon can act (and presumably think) like a person, and get bad attitudes like a person (again: Mewtwo, Lucario, Meowth), I'd say a Pokemon could murder.

Hey, that Metagross that almost killed Jessie & James DID presumably kill some other "missing" trainers, and it seemed to be aware they weren't just mindless creatures. It may have been abused by a former trainer, but then, almost all abusers start out as victims of abuse.

Still, I'd say the "kinder, gentler" Pokemon universe has probably done away with the death penalty, and would be more interested in rehabilitation than punishment.

No, not human laws, American laws, which applies in 38 states.

Well tthe world of Pokemon is far from realistic. Team Rocket have been put in so many situations that would kill any normal person and the Pokemon that did it never get punished only encouraged and praised.

You can't subject a population to laws if they can't vote and don't pay taxes.

However, animals in our world are occasionally put down if they are dangerous to people. Pokemon could fall into this.

And again, I said, they are only evil when around evil people.

Dogs are put down for merely biting people, and we're having a discussion on whether fictional beings that are probably more sentient than real-world canines who work purely on instinct could get the death sentence?

    Yes.

I really dont think we can consider it a death sentence. "Euthanasia" maybe.
