Thread: Poll - Most feminine looking starter family

Snivy? I don't really think so. Maybe Serperior. Maybe. But that's really it. Snivy isn't feminine-looking, and Servine isn't especially feminine. Definitely Chikorita's, though.

Chikorita line and Torchic line. Former based largely on most of its appearances in the anime being Ash's female one combined with ending in "-rita", latter based on appearance and ending in "-chic".

Not that I can't see them being male, but by default I just assume they're female, despite only having 12.5% chance of being so. (Which I never understood, but then again I never understood game mechanics as a whole very well in the first place.)

Chikorita. Duh. Isn't it obvious? Personally, I think its empowering, and a damn good thing that they look feminine.

VERY distantly, and if you really stretch it, I'd say Squirtle, Torchic, Piplup and Snivy could qualify (to name at least one from each generation.)

Oh, the Snivy family, totally. Snivy looks like a spoiled little princess, and Serperior looks like a regal queen.

Chikorita, of course. Bayleef looks a little bit masculine, but Chikorita and Meganium look very feminine, in my opinion.

LOLZ look at the chiko votes XD I picked Chiko, but maybe it's because Ash had a female chiko in the anime...

Most of the starters look feminine in their early stages, but turns masculine as they evolve... like, Cyndaquil and Torchic.

Obviously the Chikorita line.

I don't like labeling Pokémons as male and female restrictively, but my little brain likes to assume Chikorita and its evolutions are female. The rest looks pretty gender neutral to me. I'm actually a bit surprised by all the votes for Torchic - I always saw it as a rooster, easily one of the most masculine-looking starters.

Well, my vote certainly isn't unique, looking at the amount of votes for Chikorita.
But, it and it's evolutions look quite feminine. I always imagined Chikorita as female, and especially Bayleef, I don't why- Bayleef seems so feminine to me. (Probably due to Ash's Bayleef...)

My second vote would go to the Snivy family, and Torchic looks feminine, but Blaziken definitely does not.

Chikorita definately seems the most feminine :3 But i'd call Torchic a close second ^-^

I usually see most Pokémon as androgynous, but Chikorita's family just screams female. Though Snivy might be in that category too, if only because of the anime.

Chikorita's family has this. All of the stages have feminine qualities to them.

Chikorita family. I mean, Chikorita itself has what looks like a pearl necklace, and by the time it is a Meganium it has a full blown pink flower around it's neck.
