I heard that they're both based off characters from the same book: Journey to the West.

Enbuoh is Zhu Wajie and Infernape is Sun Wukong.

So that might explain the similarities.

The Shiny Drapion looks slightly like Pendoraa. I think they're both supposed to be centipedes.

Drapion is actually a Scorpion, but they do look simalar in general. Plus they are evil badasses in the anime BD

This. Even thouch they are 1 generation apart, and Pachirisu is a squirrel and Emonga is a sugar glider, they look ALMOST EXCATLY THE SAME!!!!

It just blows my mind on how similar the faces are!!!!! O_O

I found these serpent Pokemons;

Rayquaza = Legendary, flying and dragon type!
Jalorda = starter Pokemon, pure grass type.

Rhydon also looks too much like Nidoking.
Corphish kinda looks like a mix between a Krabby and a Magikarp...
