Though some people disagree with me, Zekrom and Chronomon Destroyer Mode just LOOK like eachother given some of the details in both......

How come nobody's mentioned Agumon/Charmander yet?

YouTube projects advertised are in early development and subject to change.

Oh my god. Those are creepily alike.

    Pretty much.

Also, Heracross and Ballistamon. One's a robot beatle, one's a beatle.

And Kamemon/Chibikamemon and Squirtle, both turtles. One's based off a Computer mouse and a sea turtle, the other is based off a sea turtle.

True. Really, to me, Delcatty has the colouring that reminds me of Gatomon more. But still Skitty, for me.

    Normal

This Pokemon is very cheerful, carefree and always has a smile. It tends to break up squabbles. Its fangs are not fully developed, but still hurt, and whenever they do, they make other Pokemon chill out.

Same pose, Horn, and eye color (Sorta, just the detail in them is different). Some of the other proportions are alike as well.

Edit: By the way what's with the comparison of an Ocean Sun Fish/Shark hybrid with a MOSASAURUS?? Tylomon and Sharpedo share a concept like that when the design basis have NOTHING in common with eachother?

There's another Digimon that looks like Torterra, ElDradimon. Yeah, I know, Eldradimon doesn't have tree but a sacred city, but, the rock spikes on its body like Torterra's spikes

    @Gligar13: Yeah, you're right

Woah, I didn't realized the "Sparrowmon and Shiny Latias" thing.

Well, yeah. I don't know what I was thinking with Tylomon and Sharpedo.

I never knew Paul McCartney was a Heracross! XD

Ballistamon also looks kinda like Optimus Prime, if you ask me.

I believe Wikimon has a running gag regarding those two. They usually refer to Sparrowmon as Shiny Latias when they're making a placeholder for it.

    It's...

How 'bout Shubarugo and Dukemon/Gallantmon? Yeah, one's an insect and one's a dinosaur-kinght-thing, but they're both knightlike and carry lances, and they both require an outside presence (Chobomaki for Shubarugo, Takato for Dukemon) to reach that particular form. Or has someone else mentioned this already?

Dukemon is barely like Shubarugo, one looks like a cross between an Evangelion and WarGreyMon, and one is a really tiny insect.

They're both knightlike, and they both require assistance from others in order to evolve. It's more of a conceptual thing.

If we'll leave the monsters alone for a minute, the Digimon dex is called the same thing in Japanese as would be expected if it were a counterpart of Pokémon.

    i.e.
デジモン図鑑 = Digimon encyclopedia = "Digimon dex"
ポケモン図鑑 = Pokémon encyclopedia = "Pokémon dex"

    Suspicious much? XD

I think that means something related to "Encyclopedia" in japanese. According to the 'pedia, Pokedex in Japanese means "illustrated Pokémon encyclopedia".

Oh. Tried looking it up on Wikipedia, turns out it means "field guide". Makes sense when you think about it >_>
