Thread: PETA made a parody of Pokemon BW2.

I couldn't find a thread about this.

Pokemon Black and Blue: Gotta Free 'Em All

It has Ash in it for some reason but other than that it's a pretty through game-verse parody. It's ridden with BW2 spoilers.. I can't see this lasting long without repressions from Nintendo's part.

That's actually fairly neat. But I don't see how it spoils anything about B2W2 aside from the characters' attires; the game is even labeled as a parody of Black and White. I see what you mean.

It spoils Ghetsis. I find it odd how PETA didn't connect him with Plasma...

Yes. That oversight just makes the parody confusing.

I'm going to play this one later. I hope it's better than the Super Meat Boy parody. That one was way too easy.

Simply put: they ARE Team Plasma, down to their motives!

It's like PETA just wants us to hate them.

So, last year they did Super Mario and the Tanookis.

Before that was Cooking Mama. (That's Nintendo, right?)

Next year....Zelda?

PETA seems to run out of important stuff fairly consistently.

"Hey, I've got an idea! Let's make an game where you have to toss bottles of acid at a fishing ship and see how many sailors you can kill in 30 seconds! That'll show PETA!"
But seriously, this is tasteless...and yet delightfully ironic. Either way, the game's bad. As for their animal rights message, that's another topic for a another forum.

I could never take them seriously. I guess we should thank our lucky stars that there are no real-life equivalents of N and Ghetsis.

I just played it XD I find it hilarious that they know Ghetsis is evil, but not that Ash never keeps Pikachu in a Poké Ball XD

Why is there an image next to the game of a Pikachu holding up a sign that says, "I support Team Plasma!" but Ghetsis appears in the game and reveals his group's true motives? Is a little consistency too much to ask?

I played it. It was fun. XD I really don't care if it was making fun of Pokemon, no one takes them seriously anyway.

Given the amount of people I see who can't stand the idea that people in the Pokemon world eat Pokemon, I'd think it would have been a better campaign to play on the friendship of humans and Pokemon.

But sure, make an attack ad that would alienate Pokemon fans and make non-fans not really care at all.

So, am I the only one that's reminded of Pokemon Conquest in the intro? Seems like Nobunaga would be a part of Team Peta.

I'm surprised at the amount of fanart that has been generated from this already.
