Thread: The most "frightening/threatening" Pokemon ever?

Yanmega, as it wants to take your head off at the freaking neck. I'm now officially terrified of dragonflies.

And going by the Pokedex entry - Yamask is plain twisted.

Yanmega. There are some terrifying bugs on Earth, but none of them could possibly compare to a 6'3" behemoth that can destroy your insides and unroot trees with a simple flap of its wings. If I lived in the Pokemon World myself, I would carry an entire team of Pokemon that can use Rock moves, no matter how small the chances of encountering a Yanmega would be.

Also, the lake guardians' powers make them creepy to me. Azelf can turn you into stone, Mesprit can drain you of emotions just by touching you (what if you accidentally brushed up against it?), while Uxie just has to look at you to wipe your memory. CREEP-Y.

Really bugs me when a person:
1) Quotes a post which I literally made an year back.
2) Has problems with the fact that I posted that,"I am not afraid of imaginary creatures.", which hardly kills the "buzz" of the thread. It is my opinion and I am entitled to post them.

@RjaG; @Lord Clowncrete; Both of you, cool it. Everyone is entitled to their opinion and there's no need to be getting into fights. If someone posts something you don't like then just simply ignore it and report it to the mods if you think it's breaking any rules.

Frightening Pokemon would probably be from R/G/B, because they looked less cartoonish then. The ghost Pokemon look quite scary, but I think I'm too used to Pokemon to think any of them very scary. Playing Blue version for the first time though, and meeting a monster you haven't seen before, I think that could frighten you. Too bad I started with Silver.

I don't know about any of you but a particular scene in the anime made this Pokemon look down right terrifying to me.

Well Aggron certainly wins it as far as threatening goes. A steel plated 6'11" beast who mercilessly attacks anything in it's territory. Yikes.

I remember being totally freaked out by Gastly when I played through Kanto for the first time. *shudders* The whole "Ghost" thing in Lavender Town really got me too.
I have to say Yanmega and Litwick are the most frightening for me right now. (Litwick's eyes in the games are pretty scary)

Yeah, I also thought the Lavender Town ghosts were scary. Kind of tried to avoid Pokemon Tower for a while after I'd completed the necessary mission there and caught myself a Gastly (and evolved it) and a Cubone.

The really scary thing in there, though, was the trainers, talking about being possessed and saying things like "Give me....blood!"

Kabutops, because its arms are blades. Darkrai, because it's the embodiment of nightmares. And Kyurem, because it's an extraterrestrial, it looks menacing, and is said to have taken away humans and pokemon at night to eat.

Mr. Mime. That thing is just creepy!

That skull raping peice of paranormal shit called Chandelure.It will fucking absorb your soul if you touch its flames.And Deoxys.Its fucking epic,but the fact that it can go faster than any other pokemon (usually) and shapeshift makes it a scary motherfucker.Jirachi...Someone could wipe out humanity if they found that thing.......Hypno.It could hypnotize you and kidnap you(check the Dex entry),make you kill yourself,That guy could rule the motherfucking world.
Kyogre.It could drown you in a sea of frothing,ice cold water, and lets not forget the regi's.Regirock can cruch you horribly,Registeel is immune to bullets as it killsyou,and Regice can freeze you horribly...Regigigigas can stomp you to pieces and command the regi's.Arceus..Just sitting at home now, typing this sentence right now...Knowing that if it went evil,it could end it all.......PM me,I can find something scary with literally any pokemon.
