Thread: Least Favourite Water Starter

I'd go with Piplup for its uninteresting full evolved form.

Piplup. His anime persona was obnoxious and only turns good in its last evolution.

Also, I'm going to kill all of you who voted Totodile...

Squirtle>Mudkip>Totodile>Piplup>Oshawatt

Oshawatt is awesome itself, but the evos are just terribly designed imo. The Squirtle family will always be my favorite of the water types. The anime ruined Piplup for me.

It would have to be Oshawott. I don't really dislike it, mostly because of the completely rubbish water-pokémon Unova has otherwise. I'm not a big fan of Piplup, but Empoleon is pretty cool. Besides, the water-starters are all my favorites of the starters, a lot because they're in fact water (Totodile and family would have been awesome regardless...)

Mudkip is too boring. If I wanted a Water/Ground pokémon, I'd go with Quagsire.

Piplup and Oshawott's line are the ones with the most evolutions I don't like quite as much as the rest. I only truly like Empoleon and Samurott, respectively (but I do like them A LOT). Sorry Pip and Osha.

Hard to choose, as the Water starters are all among my favorite, and it's my favorite type. As far as pre-evolved forms go, though, Piplup is the big winner. I just don't like its design, although it changes when it evolves to Empoleon. For second form, Croconaw would be my choice, and for the final form... I think Swampert. It looks great, but not as good as the other. Out of these three, I'll vote for Piplup, just because the anime made me like it less.

In the games, none of them had negative qualities. However, Piplup was so annoying in the anime.

Piplup and Oshawott I couldn't stand to even look at.

Totodile. It just doesn't seem as 'adorable' as the rest. And being adorable is srs bsns.

I hope no one kills me for this, but as cute as Oshawott is, I actually find it the least appealing out of all of the water starters. :( I will not deny it's cuteness however, and at least thats a good thing, right? n___n;

First form: Oshawott. It's still cute in a derpish way, but the least so out of all the Water Starters.
Second form: Croconaw. Never really liked that caveman dress it's got going on.
Final form: Swampert. Looks the least appealing out of all the final forms to me by far.

General: Mudkip. It's got interesting typing as Swampert and decent battle ability, but its evolutions have pretty poor designs as far as starters go.
