    Maybe a warm fire-type, like cyndaquil or torchic, it's really cold when winter comes, but you can always do anithing against summer.

    A Golett and a Golurk. Golett because it's small and cute and can snuggle with me. Golurk because it can act as an awesome guardian and protector and who needs a car when you've got a giant flying ghost-bot to take you everywhere?

    But to be honest, I wouldn't treat them as pets. They'd be friends for life.
