If Pokémon were real I 'd have Pidgeotto flying around me, Bulbasaur on my shoulder, Chimecho floating about, Emolga on my other shoulder and Cacnea in my arms. And whenever any of the boys in my class picked on me I could just send out a massive whirlwind/solarbeam/psychic/thunderbolt/pin missile combo! Then I could fly home from school on my Pidgeotto! (That is, if it doesn't collapse on the way...)

It's funny.
The thing I love most about the pokemon games (video games, or TCG) is collecting (gotta catch em all mentality)
But I think If Pokemon were real, I would think it evil to just collect pokemon.
I would treat them as my friends, learn everything about the six I carry around, and travel the world with them, meeting new people from all sorts of backgrounds and sharing Pokemon stories with each other.

I know the people would probably want to take over the world, but it would be so damn amazing to wake up one morning, go outside and see wild bird Pokémon flying across the skies, others playing in the grass, etc. I know that the world would become a highly dangerous place but at the same time it would become a place I always wished for it to be and that would make me very happy. Besides, it's not like bad guys would win if we ever came into the situation to face them! I'm pretty sure most Pokémon Trainers would team up and defend the world!

Ah, would that be an exciting world. ^^

I really don't know. I mean, if pokémon were real of course I'd love to hang out with them, but I can't imagine to put some stuff in my bag and going around the world challeging older people for badges XD

I'd probably just hang around the corner with cute pokémons or look for some hot trainers and stalk them <3

Maybe it would be that exciting, btw. I mean, you can see birds by your window and you just think it's ok, it's common. Maybe if they were real they would be common for us aswell, so having a pokémon could be just like having a pet.

Yeah, I seriously doubt that I would start off on a journey or challenge Gyms or any of that. I'm too much of a homebody. But still, I'd love to have a few Pokemon companions.

Maybe if they were real they would be common for us aswell, so having a pokémon could be just like having a pet.

That's the thing--I don't know if I'd treat them as pets, though. It would depend on the Pokemon.

Something like a Meowth or an Eevee, yeah. It would be kept and treated like a small animal. You know, given a scratch behind the ear or a snuggle on the couch, that sort of thing. Something that was a bit more human... that's where it gets a bit tricky. If I had a Golett, I know I'd treat it like it was a small child. Heck, I'd go out and buy the little bugger toys and talk to it like it were my kid. A Golurk I'd treat in a similar fashion, only I'd talk and interact with it the same as I would with any of my adult human friends. The same would hold true if I was lucky enough to befriend a Sawk. The more human-like the Pokemon would look, the more human-like I would treat it. And maybe that's some sort of odd personal bias on my part.

Health and Safety would ban battling outside arena's

Teachers would terrorize kids under 12 with their huge pokemon.

There would be no meat

Animal rights people would stop battling and anything fun with pokemon.

Ditto would kidnap you and take your place in society. The world would be taken over by them

You couldn't beat the Mafia by defeating their pokemon, they would just shoot you.

Anime physics would not exist therefore water types would suck

Wow, that was a little negative. I don't want to start an argument, but if you don't like the idea of Pokemon being real, then why come here?

I perfectly like pokemon it's just that it's far better in the games than in the real world where idiots would make it far less enjoyable than it should be. Personally I would prefer it the otehr way round, if We were part of the pokemon world
