Well, if this world being merged with the Pokémon world was a new and sudden thing, I'd certainly hope there was a benevolent supreme being around to help! But that probably wouldn't be the case, so we'd have to hope the people who analyse the flaws will be able to work things out instead. It wouldn't be me - I'm not even toeing the line of an analysis, because I haven't the skill.
In that case, though, I was wrong in one thing. Some of us who aren't heroes might become such, in the face of such adversity.
Anyhow, it's not "a gigantic deposit of super-powered pessimism". It appears you're the one focusing on the negatives of what I'm saying, but I've mentioned why it's a good thing. I will not agree that one should completely ignore everything that wouldn't be sunshine-and-butterflies, though, because that's not how the world would be. (Besides, if it's the less-harmful variant of "the world has always been this way" (rather than completely upsetting everyone's way of life, ever), meaning we'd have the infrastructure for it, it would also be normal for everyone.)
Besides, if you only think of all the rainbows and sparkles, there isn't much interesting discussion on it, and since discussion's all that's going to happen - well, I have a vested interest in looking at both sides and trying to see if other people will, too.
In any case, the characters I play in RPs and ASB aren't kind. So it's best for everyone if I don't have all that power to play with.
