If you're allowing the condition that the Pokemon world is truly as it is depicted in our games and anime (that we can survive as wandering trainers with no schooling, jobs, or stable homes and everything is still peachy keen), then I would gladly trade a life of real hardships and lasting struggles for one of Pokemon and simplicity.

Ahaha...
^THIS.
Dunno bout you folks, but i'm not too partial for getting mugged at poke-point. (even though it seems to still happen in game) I also don't take to the idea of trying to find decent work in the regions. I mean really, have you thought about what you've done to the poor old daycare people? I'll pass on that HWOSA if you don't mind.
So yeah, if pokemon life was 100% like the games...maybe we got something. till then I think I'll stick right here.

I have a good life, and the Pokemon world would be boring as hell.
No.
Definitely, but I could probably wait until 2012. If I could, I'd take my sister and my two best friends. Even though one of them doesn't like Pokemon, one of them kinda does, and my sister doesn't really care.

No chance. Family and friends outweigh everything the PokeWorld could possibly bring.
I wouldn't want to leave everyone I knew behind.

Same here, I wouldn't do that to my family. There is also the question of whether anime physics work when we transfer to poke-world or not too :/
(wandering around at age 10, no change of clothes, little food, and the only way to make money is fighting, which may not even give you money if that trainer has none. If that magically doesn't happen, I'd consider trying it after my real death.)

Not now, I have too many friends and family that I would never just leave...
If I could tell my family before i left, than yes. If I die painfully to get there, than no. In general I would probably go since i spend 75% of my day day-dreaming about living in other worlds (including Pokemon).

Like others have said, I couldn't do that to my family, nor could I live without them.
However, I always liked to think that, if there really was a heaven when one dies, that it'd be your own "custom" heaven that you design (kinda like in that one Robin Williams movie). That way, after my number's up, I can go and live out my afterlife in my very own replica Pokémon world. XD
Hey, it could happen. The question is: which Gen would it be?
Provided i could come back, sure id go. There are alot of things i want to do in this world, too.
