Spinda's rather like a panda. The consonants in 'Spinda' and 'panda' are practically the same.
Dolphins and hummingbirds would make great pokemon though.
Feel free(r) to discuss Battle Strategy with me--I'll discuss anything really.
Besides being a strange (retired) battler with a storied, legendary, mythical, exaggerated, and relatively unknown career, I am also an amateur English B&W anime reviewer. (pachiba, you like?)
And I take hoedowns seriously.
Doesn't Gorebyss look like one?
Also a Chimera, Kraken or a Pegasus Pokemon would be great!
I claimed Chandelure, Levitate,Horn Drill and Dusk Stone!
I don't mean to single you out, but how, exactly, does it look like one? People keep saying Gorebyss is a dolphin, but looking at Gorebyss and looking at dolphin pictures...there are no similarities aside from an elongated snout and an aquatic appearance. Sort of like saying Huntail's a shark because you can see teeth.
My thoughts exactly. But if you compare Gorebyss to a pipefish or a snipe eel, you can definitely see a resemblance. Also, considering Gorebyss, Huntail, and Clamperl live so deep in the ocean that you have to use Dive, it would make sense they'd be based on eels.
So yeah, the bottlenose dolphin and others like it need to be made.
As for new ideas, there's always room for more big cats and more birds. I especially would like a Snow Leopard, Cheetah, Barn Owl, and Cockatiel.
I have claimed Milotic!
I'd say Fribbit.
I'm making Pokemon games to pitch to Game Freak, so I thought I'd reveal the Water-type starter.
Fribbit is a blue amphibian-like Pokemon. Bright green ovals for eyes, and it has four tentacles. It walks on them. It has no mouth, and it's Hidden Ability (if it will have one) is Rain Dish, because it breathes by absorbing moisture in the air onto its skin and then separates the oxygen from the hydrogen. But this is fine because the hydrogen just reacts with the oxygen in the air and condenses on Fribbit's skin, so Fribbit is always moist. This way Fribbit does not have to go into water to moisturize its skin. Ta-da. Science.
I'm in middle school by the way. Pretty smart huh?

Isn't Spinda a Red Panda?

I actually had ideas for a tumble weed, a psychotic yangire-esque doll, and a bomber bird hybrid.
Well, it doesn't look like one of those either. :/ It looks like a rabbit.
A red panda that looks like an actual red panda would be pretty cool, though. They are adorable. Maybe Fire-type, but that would be obvious with the red fur. So maybe a Dark-type? Or, actually, an Electric-type would be pretty neat for it.
Actually, an Electric-type weasel/ferret would be nice. Ferrets did used to be used for running cables underground, so I can see that working and having some basis.
I had an idea a few years back for a Rapidash evolution. Just add wings and you have a pegusus Pokemon :D
I have plenty of starters to trade via negotiations!
I have claimed Shaymin in the claim-a-Pokemon thread! :D
