somewhat, yes. but Normal-type moves are useless against Ghost, Rock, and Steel... also against Fighting, given their super-effective attacks against Normal-type. That's 4 right there, i'm talking about truly no weaknesses and no advantages.

Personally, I would keep a ???-type Pokemon in my 6th slot for such occasions where i have no advantages, for instance against Spiritomb, or against Whiscash if my Grass type has fainted, or if i start with a Fire starter and have noone to use against the Rock gym. Things like that, it would be handy to have a "Do-it-all" type, if for no other reason than to always have a Plan B.

Hmmm, you got a point. But, wouldn't it become overpowered? Normal was created to be the all round type, but has some weakness to balance it, because the developers may consider having no weakness and no bonus is overpowered.

With the right moves, you could have a 6 team of ???-type and beat with some ease other types.

Why isn't there a peacock pokemon? It could be fire/flying. It's big, massive tail feathers could turn into lava plumes :D It's kinda of unoriginal... You know... Moltres ^^;

an ice fighting pokemon would be cool. it would be humanoid but like sycther it would have spears for arms. it could slide around on its legs like ice skates. it could evolve from a little ice skater pokemon.

um is some one forgeting dodrio you could give it a evolution.

Maybe first we should think what kinds of real-life animals don't have Pokemon counterparts so far?

hows about mamaswine it evolves from pilowswine when leveling up with a everstone(weird but just go with it)it learns sweet kiss and a new move good night.

How about an alternate evolution for vulpix?

Instead of a yellow/white form(Ninetales) how about something jet black, with the same burning red eyes, which appears under "exceptional circumstances" - say, a male vulpix that knows Dark Pulse being levelled up at night?

It's type would be split between Fire/Dark.

I got a starter for the next region. A Grass Pokémon named Leafile it would look kinda like a Chikorita but a bit more closer to a wolf. It would evolve at level 14 into a Grass/Dark Pokémon and I'll call it Grapyle for now, I don't have a name for it, it would then evolve again at level 34 into another Grass/Dark type. But I don't know what it is called.
