I turned 16 last May.

Proud year of the rooster, I was born in 1993, making myself 18 years old. I guess that officially makes me an adult Pokemon fan ^-^

Loved Pokemon since the age of 7, will probably be buried with my Pokemon Emerald. (loved that game)
however my favorite Pokemon is Chikorita because every single Mystery Dungeon game I have played my starter is always at least once Chikorita. It never fails.

Well, the first time I actually played was in Singapore Airlines. I played Pokemon Yellow, and is was really fun, although I got stuck in Viridian Forest, and took me over an hour to figure out where the exit was -_-

I'm loving the distribution in the poll, though. Skimming the thread, the one thing about Pokémon that never ceases to amaze me is how people of literally all ages can be united in their appreciation of a franchise. Though I must admit it does make me feel a little old to think that I just discovered it around the same time as some of you were born...
