Thread: Garchomp = She?

I've noticed that female Garchomps used more so than males, in the anime only two Garchomps appeared Cynthia's and another she-chomp used during the summer camp arc, every image of Garchomp in the TCG are female, Pokedex 3D Pro only uses a female Garchomp model, the Garchomp in Pokepark 1 and 2 despite being male uses a female modal and the DW artwork uses a female garchomp. Male garchomps can easily be drawn and PBR had male garchomp models, did Game Freak and Creatures forgot that Garchomp had gender differences?

It's probably just coincidence that they did that.

I think it's just a coincidence. Garchomp can be both male and female. Maybe the people that write the anime, make the trading cards and stuff just prefer the art for female Garchomp.

Perhaps it was easier to draw a female Garchomp then a male for them. Or maybe they just liked how the female's look more.

On a side note, I only have one Garchomp and it's female. I called her Cookie.

My guess is that it's coincidental, as they have a 50/50 gender ratio.

The only real "difference" was that boy Chomps have scars and girl Chomps don't, IIRC. I have a male Garchomp in my White Living Pokedex, but he has a Gentle nature, so I get sad seeing that scar there. I don't see why it matters, though.

I have to agree with everyone here. It is probably just a mere coincidence that happened by mistake.

It probably is more of a coincidence than anything. I don't think it's a thing of being easier to draw or not.

It's because its easier to draw, I have a male one, but I still like the female's design more.

A lot of people probably don't even know about the gender difference, so maybe it's so that those people don't scratch their heads wondering why Garchomp has a cut? If that's not it, then coincidence.
