Re: Flying Druddigon?
Forget Druddigon, I'm surprised that Kyurem could fly even though its body proportion makes it too difficult for it to fly.

From Leyend to Myth
Re: Flying Druddigon?
Kyurem can learn fly though, so it must be able to in some fashion.
What the OP means is that Druddigon can't, and doesn't look like the wings are functional. However, there are so many design and gameplay discrepancies that it shouldn't be much of a wonder if it could despite being suspectible to ground moves nor learning fly.
Also this is the Card Game, so gameplay matters even less.

Re: Flying Druddigon?
Well, its wings have to have a use beyond just absorbing sunlight for it. Ol' Druddi's not exactly a plant, after all. I admit I was sorta miffed that it couldn't learn Fly (not that I wanted it to learn it).
Still, I love the fact that they made Golurk a flying mecha golem, heheh!

Re: Flying Druddigon?
That's a surprise to me too, but I am more surprised with Chandelure! It doesn't have the ability to avoid ground attacks like Magnezone, but here, it's shown to fly at great heights!
Thanks for reading.

Wait didn't it fly in the anime? Or am I thinking of someone else? I swore it did.

Re: Flying Druddigon?
Well, most Eastern Dragons flying ability is a result of some 'supernatural power' and not necessarily what their bodies would physically allow. It's entry says it races through caves so I always kind of assumed it was flight. It seemed more sensible than running with those legs.
As for Kyurem, I'll go with "mystic dragon abilities" given its legendary status.
