Personally, I prefer that there are more Fire/Fighting type Pokemon, just not as starter evolutions, as I'm hoping for a Fire/Dark or Fire/Steel evolution for the Gen 6 Fire Starter.

I do like the typing, but just not on the fricking starters again, I only didn't complain abou it this time because I went like this:

    Blaziken - LOOOOVE Blaziken
Infernape - Monkeys are among my least preferred animals, so I ignored them.
    Emboar - Weee~ A fire Boar!

Ugh. Emboar sucks. What about Fire/Dark for a change? Infernape is my favourite Pokemon, and when just Blaziken was around it was an unique combination. Emboar is fat, ugly, and has the worst base stats. Also Blaziken is UBER, Infernape is OU, Emboar is NU. Emboar should've been Fire/Ground or Fire/Rock if you ask me.

if they want to make another fire/fighting it should be better than the others. blaziken lost its trend in gen 4. infernape burned out quickly (haha get it). emboar can get a ton of HP but its defense sucks.

    Not as starters.
    For gen 6 I want a Fire-Dark type, a Grass-Psychic type, and a Water-Ghost type.

I like these combinations, but wouldn't that make it unbalanced against the grass type Pokemon? I think it would make more sense to make the water type part fighting to even it out.

I wouldn't mind to have more Fire / Fighting, just not as starters. It's getting monotonous. My wish for dual-typed starters in Gen 6 would be Grass/Ghost, Fire/Poison & Water/Bug. The only dual-type that already exist is Water/Bug, but with only Surskit using this combination, I think it'd be great to expand on that.

It appears that the common sentiment right now is Fire/Fighting on a non-starter. This is quite understandable, since a Fire/Fighting-starter is not exactly a novelty at this point. I would prefer something new and underused, such as, say, Fire/Ground on a starter myself.

When it's applied on a non-starter, though, things could be interesting, since its base stat total won't likely be higher than the starters, who sport a total of 528 to 535, which are pretty good (all of them have high Attack and Special Attack), unless they make it special such as being a legendary. In fact, it could be interesting if this new Fire/Fighting-type is a legendary.

Still, Fire/Fighting is low-priority on my wanted (and explored) type combinations (Grass/Water is my highest).

    Thanks for reading.

Blaziken was cool. Infernape was all right, as it was seen as an improvement over Blaziken (at least until Speed Boost) but Emboar...that was when it started to take the mickey.

    No more Fire/Fighting types please.

No for the starters. It's good to have diversity. Fire/Dark or Fire/Psychic would be my wish-list for the upcoming starters.
Interesting that we'd never had a Fire/Fighting non-starter pokemon so I would definitely want to have that. Infernape is my favorite out of the three.

Why do people want to see the starters with ghost, dark, and psychic as secondary types? This would be unbalanced because dark is immune to psychic. I agree, no more fire/fighting my favorite is Emboar, creative design, disliked Blaziken. I would like to see grass/fighting/dark or water/fighting/poison and as for fire/dark/ground. GF needs to get more creative with secondary types for the starters.
