Pokemon like Meloetta are said to have a wonderful voice and her songs are supposed to be soothing. As such, the song of Jigglypuff can put you to sleep. Put together the singing pokemon, and you'd probably get a pokemon choir.

But however much the songs are good - does Perish Song sound good? I had only seen it once in the anime (Pokemon Crystal), and it seemed to hurt the opponent pokemon.

Is it some sad mourning song that makes you faint? Or an ear-splitting screech that literally kills your ears?

I've always imagined it as a slow, quiet, creepy song that gradually gets faster, louder, and more erratic as it builds to it's climax.

It sounds very dreary. Like something very depressing has just happened. You've never heard it in game? Hm.

I've alwasy thought of as a choir of dead people, infact dead Pokemon and their trainers, wailing and screaming in pain to drive the inflicted pokemon to complete madness.

I've always thought it would sound similar to what the Siren's songs of Greek myths were supposed to sound like. The sirens would lure sailors to the deaths by singing with their beautiful voices out on the seas. So I think it would sound soothing or something similar, when in reality it's a countdown to their death. Sort of like a false safety [though the name Perish Song will give it away if a trainer uses it XD].

I like the idea of it starting out sweet and soft but then gaining speed and aggression. It seems likely.

My friends use to joke that Perish Song sounded like really intense goth music.

But I like to think it sounds similar to Gloomy Sunday. It's a good song, but it worms its way into your mind. The only way to stop it is to knock yourself out, so you won't be able to remember it.

    "Playing around?" Wrong.

I like to think of perish song as sounding unimaginably sweet. It gets deep within the foe's mind, and after three turns, it goes stomach turningly vile.

I always imagined it just being ear-piercingly high pitched, with an eerie tune. Like something a ghost might sing in a horror movie or something.
