Thread: Do you want to see the battles of Champion vs Villain Boss?

In every game, we fight the villain boss, we save the world.

But what about the Champions? They never fight against the bosses in the games - except for Steven Stone in Emerald, but he wasn't a champion in that version.

Same goes for the anime. They help, but don't fight.

Do you want to see the battles of Champion vs Villain Bosses? If so, what do you want to see?

For me, I want to see Alder vs N. They actually battled in the games, but when we arrived at the scene, we were too late and missed the big fight.

I would like to see Green vs Giovanni (gen 1/gen 3 remake).

And as a note, Red vs Giovanni did actually happen - a few times in gen 1/gen 3 remakes, Red (the player character) faces Giovanni. 3 times I think. So, anyone who played through gen1 or the remakes has seen that one. Giovanni doesn't even show up in gen2, though, so I don't see why you have him listed there. In gen 2 the "leader" would be the executives who are trying to revive Team rocket, since Giovanni has long since abandoned them after getting his butt kicked by Red.

I agree with Shadow Victory there : for once there was a fight between a Champion and a Villain Boss, we had to come too late to witness that D:

Steven and Wallace against Archie and Maxie would be interesting (and balanced).

The battle between Red and Giovanni in their later experience would be an epic battle to behold for me.

And having the Champion fight the Villain boss is more logical in every sense

Isn't the tag battle with Lance against Ariana in HG/SS technically champion vs boss?

I do agree that it would be nice to see more of these battles, though. Also, Alder did fight N in BW...

I'd love to see villain/champ battles, or even E4. I've always wished that the E4 and Champions had more appearances other than when you battle them.

A champion vs boss tag battle - that sounds epic!

Oh easily - though I'd like to see Ghetsis be taken down a peg by Alder - the one I've always and will always want is Cynthia vs Cyrus. Not just because of the pure epicness of imagining Cynthia easing a beaten and tired Dawn/Lucas besides a spent Giratina who refuses to stay down. Cynthia tells it to protect Dawn/Lucas with its life because, "Things might get rough and I can't promise I'll pull my punches on him." Cyrus - already pretty tired himself from the long battle with the trainer and Legend - gives a mocking comment until he senses Cynthia's - for lack of a better term, forgive me for the reference - Trainer Spirit and her power. Then things get real, fast.

I know it's not how the game goes, or the manga, or the anime. Nope, it's pure fanminded which is essentually what the question is about.
