Do you still get judged for playing Pokemon?

Luckily, no, all my family know how much I love the series. They also appreciate how in-depth the games are, especially when I explain the mechanics to them.

When you get to college, all of the Pokémon fans come back out of the closet.

I've met more open-and-proud Pokémon fans at university than I did in elementary school during the peak of American Poké-mania.

My whole class secretly love Pokemon but wont admit it. :D Me and my friend are only ones I know from my school that I know that plays Pokemon. And I'm in Elementary.

Na. I'm very openly a Pokémon fan and all I really get is sometimes some nagging about the new generations. Like how can I still like it, oh Pokémon was in its best in the 90's, what can you possibly see in it anymore.

Nah, I'm a closet Pokémon fan, so nobody really knows how far my enthusiasm in the franchise actually goes. It used to be so popular earlier on, and I used to be the one who knew the most about it, (which I'm still kinda aknowledged for by the few friends, though not to the degree where I'm cool >_<). But to be honest, noone has actually judged me on it, at least they haven't openly told me that something was off, so I guess it may be more the fear of being judged that's keeping me from standing up for it.

As a short answer down here, I don't know if people actually judge me, though I keep it a secret, as that is what I'm afraid they'll do.

I am very open with regards to my love for pokemon. I love the series and the games, and that is all that matters to me.

I'm turning twenty, and no one gives me any issues for playing Pokemon. I think you only have to "worry" about what other people think if you're still in school.

And even then, if your friends are knocking you, they're probably not very good friends in the first place.

Not really. I posted on Facebook once that I was playing Black Version, and lots of people liked it o.o Generally the people I know are accepting of things.

At school, sometimes, since some of the kids think it's childish and stuff. Outside of school, not so much, because I generally meet with people who play Pokémon as well, and the college I'm going to enter has a huge amount of them, so I won't have to worry much in the future.

I don't usually play it in public. When I do though, some friends are like "Awesome." I sometimes think I'd get judge and I even judge myself sometimes, but I keep playing in the end ^_^

Not much. A few close friends of mine tease me about it, but even then its friendly, as we mess around with each other all the time. Everybody at my school knows I play pokemon, so they don't say much.

I don't go to school or anything so no haters really. But a couple of my friends play Pokemon. I don't understand why someone would judge someone else for something like that? Either way I don't care what people think, so if they don't like it they can deal with it.

I dont hide nothing it taught me how to read and do math why closet what Pokemon gave me a skill to do. Besides I look like a Trainer anytime I walk out the house for an event. and
