    I owe Pokémon a lot.
Firstly, it was my first touch to the world of Japanese popculture, at the age of 5 or 6. Because of Pokémon I got into anime and manga, and have an affection to Japan and its culture in general.
It got me interested in another cultures and different languages in general.
It was my first touch to RPG games and got me into gaming.
It gave and still gives me a huge motivation to learn English, and also taught it. I wouldn't be nearly as good at English if there was no Pokémon. That's why I'm pretty happy that the games are in English, because they really help you to learn.
I learned HTML and CSS because of Pokémon, since I made a fansite.
I learned to edit videos, because of Pokémon AMVs I made.
It was my first enter to a huge worldwide franchise.
    ~More coming soon~

Yes. I would become a criminal if the franchise and the community of fans were over, because I would not have a reason to live. Pokémon IS my life.

It made me friends when, I was younger, and brought me closer to friends in later life.
I joined this site because of it, and I love it here.
It was my gateway to gaming and RPGs, and it got me more interested in writing.

    Hm...

Well, Pokemon was the first turn based RPG I ever played, and it got me interested in the genre. Does that count? >>

    To some degree...

It gave me a reason to go to school in fifth grade, knowing that afterwards I could play video games.

No. Other than the fact that housework waits alot longer than it used to.
I do like the escapism from the real world the game provides and since I got internet access on my phone have found it even more absorbing and interesting. I suppose it also allows me to let out a little bit of the child left in me. Whilst a bit too new to have met many folks yet, I think the community pokemon has created is brilliant.

Oh yes, it did. In so many ways, may I add.
Nowadays it's more than just a some TV-show or a game... It's the way how I live my life, really. I feel sorry for those who haven't got into it. Pokémon is the best thing a human being has ever made up!

    Everything is possible.

Hard to say since Pokémon has been part of my life since I was about five years old.

Kinda. Mainly in a social sense, though - most of my friends now are pretty into it.

As for everything else.. Not so much - my dad introduced me to gaming from a stupidly young age anyway and I was hooked on anime and manga all by myself from the age of about five regardless. I guess it taught me to be unashamed of the things I'm still loyal to and what I love even if some say I'm too old for it or it's not as popular anymore. Obviously, it's certainly provided a lot of entertainment over the years, and this isn't to say I didn't have a highly obsessed stage where the decor of my bedroom and 80% of my entertainment revolved purely around this franchise. I make no mistakes in admitting it sculpted much of my early-to-mid childhood in those senses. xD

Yes. First off, it's helped me meet two of the best friends I've ever had, and it's helped other frienships.

It also introduced me to the world of anime and video games.

And of course, when I was younger, about anything I did with my own time involved Pokemon.

Probably. Pokémon was one of the first real video games I could play consistently.
