Thread: Best Water type starter

I went with Piplup. Hes pretty cute when little and then he evolves into the ever useful Empoleon.

A close second is Squirtle. Like they say, you never forget your first.

Damn, this is harder...I love the water starters.

But hmm...if I really had to, I'd go with Totodile. I don't know why. It's cute...and I loved Ash's Totodile in the anime.

Swampert. Grass will kill him, but electricity will do nothing. That's why I hate Quaqsire.

All the other water starters are good too but IMO he's the coolest.

well said :) i still have my pokemon blue english version and pokemon green japanese with a blastoise in it at lvl 80ish (dont use that missingno shit anymore too much rarecandy = bad for you) but its so awesome if i had firered or leafgreen squirtle would be my choice

i heard mudkip is awesome too but why only 8 votes? it should surpass tortodile... which is nothing special..

Piplup is cute, so I choose it.

I like Mudkip the best, but I like the evolutions of Squirtle as opposed to Mudkip better, so Squirtle it is.

Well Swampert is awesome it and its evolutionary line are my favourite of all the starters not just the Water types. I looks great and is very powerful. Plus who honestly doesn't liek Mudkips?

My least favourite is the Piplup although I still like that. In fact as a collective whole the water starters are best as far as I'm concerned, even if it varies for generation to generation.

I love them all but I have to go with Swampert. Before I was stupid and deleted my Sapphire's file my Swampert was a badass. :3

I actually really like all of them. If you had asked me years ago, I would have said Squirtle, then when D/P came out it was Piplup, now I'm thinking it's Totodile.

But if you mean from a competitive standard then Mudkip/Marshtomp/Swampert hands down.
