Thread: Best Grass type starter

Best = Turtwig/evo's because of it's high base atk/def and decent moves

Worst = bulbasaur/chikorita/evo's...they both have low stats in my opinion and don't have very good level up moves...

Bulbasaur. My first ever Pokemon and favorite. He's a powerhouse. He roxors my soxors.

Chikorita, Meganium is awesome and looks cute!!!

Treecko.

But I expect the new Grass reptile to surpass Treecko. Or at least, that's what I wish to happen. :P

I don't know. It's a very even race between three of them, though if I was forced to choose, I'd probably side with the Bulbasaur line. The only one that I'm personally not fond of is the Treecko line.

nothing can surpass Treecko. And even if it does, its final evolution won't surpass Sceptile.

I'd say smugleaf, but since that isn't a choice, I'll go Treeko.

Gotta go with Venusuar. Ugly sonofabitch but he can hold his own in battle

My favorite grass-type starter is Bulbasaur, because of movepool and appearance.

But I like Venasaur the best he ain't good with speed like Charizard but he can cause many status problems while attackin the opponent

Tsutaaja > Turtwig > Bulbasaur > Treecko > Chikorita

Bulbasaur is ok, I can't stand Chikorita, Treecko is cool, and Turtwig was Bulbasaur but not as good.

Treecko was the first badass original stages starter Pokemon, in my opinion. It already looked like it was ready to kick ass, the other Starters needed another stage or two for that.

And no, not Smugleaf. We don't know anything about it until it's shown what it can do (probably in the anime)

Treecko. I liked it enough to name a log after it when the third gen starters were revealed.

Torterra.
It's cute+High Defense+Earthquake(and whole partly Ground-typing)=LOVELOVELOVE.
Even though it has 4x weakness to Ice, it's my favorite, as it's good against Fire. I don't use it when I'm battling water/ice pokemon or pokemon that know ice moves, they are taken care by my Magnezone, so ice weakness negated.

Venusaur comes really, really, really close.

I don't like Sceptile.
Because its ugly...
And: One IceBeam or BugBite or BraveBird... Wham. A dead lizard.
