Best Grass type starter

I voted for the Turtwig line, but honestly, I like them all pretty equally.

Sceptile. Beastly speed. Though i feel it was better before DPPt because of the Physical/Special thing.

Torterra, high base attack, HP and defense, is a multi-type ground grass, weakens fire attacks, cancels electric attacks out, upper advantage against most fire type starter pokemon, except charizard.

worst is sceptile, low base stats, single type, but has high speed.

The Turtwig line is the best IMO. Torterra is a beast of a pokemon.

Sceptile: 530
Torterra: 525

Well would you look at that, Sceptile has higher base stats then all the other grass types. And his single type is better then Torterra's 4x ice weakness, which makes torterra almost unusable. So get your facts straight before you post something next time.

My favorite is the Hoenn one because of Treecko and Grovyle. I kinda like Sceptile but not as much.

Bulbasaur is good too.

the Jukain line, definitely.

I know I’m being biased since he was such a great tank battler for me in my Diamond game, but I going to go with Torterra.
