Thread: Best Fire type starter

The cyndaquil line is the only fire starter that I use

I would think the Torchick line is the strongest or most valuable being that they also learn flying attacks, though the Chimchar line is faster and the Charmander line should be able to beat them and is ground immune.

That said, my favorite is the Cyndaquil line.

Nah but really, I use to main water type and Cyndaquil was my first fire.

I would've never bothered about Fire-starters if it weren't for the Torchic line.

I don't really like the Fire starters much, but my favorite out of all of them has to be Blaziken (and the Torchic line in general.) I hate, hate, hate Charizard and Typhlosion's popularity (which in turn makes me dislike them) and Infernape is the one starter I can honestly say I despise with all my heart and soul.

As for the best one, competitively, Infernape hasn't really impressed me. Mine has a tendency to die if the opponent breathes too hard. Charizard+Stealth Rock=Epic fail for the Gen I starter. I haven't tried Blaziken in OU yet so I wouldn't know. All in all, in the standard tier, Typhlosion has actually been the reliable fire starter for me (which isn't actually saying much. It does more damage and survives longer than the others, but still gets raped preatty quickly)

I'm tied between Blaziken and Charizard o.o" Charizard can fly...Plus its part dragon type...So i'll go with that...

Except that it's not. Charizard looks like a Dragon, but it's really part Flying.

Mine has got to be Charizard. It's interesting to note that, from the poll. the later the generation, the less popular pokemon.

Charmander cause he's cute!!! Well actually all the Kanto starters were cute!!! Especially Bulbasaur I love that little dinosaur with the bulb on his back!

Infernape is the best fire starter, it's that simple. I prefer Blaziken myself, but Infernape is bar none, the best of the four.

If you're asking for favorite fire starter, I'd have to swing between Charizard and Blaziken. I love mah flaming chicken. XD

Cyndaquil, I think. But it's the only one I don't think I've played yet. I tend to go for water-type's over fire. :3

Cyandaquil. Some of you will be too young to remember pokemon Gold and Silver. But he was amazing. I prefer the original pokemon like him and Charmander. There's too many fancy new pokemon now. That's why when Ash is in his final battle to become Pokemon master, he goes back to basics and uses the old gang of Bulbasaur, Chamander and Squirtle. In their evolved forms of course.
