Thread: Best Fire type starter

I love them all...have raised them all at least once.

Sorry, but Cyndaquil for the win :P
It's just too cool-looking, and I don't mind that he's only got one type :P
That's just extra weaknesses :P

I love Kanto starter Charmander but the others are also very cute. The only problem with Torchic is that its evolve into an ugly Combusken...but Blaziken is so cool~

charmander is the best 1st stage evo, qwilava is the best 2nd evo and blazekin is the best full evo :)

Blaziken and Charizard are about equal, but I love Blaziken's design just a bit more.

Typhlosion is cool too, but there's so little variation throughout that evolutionary line.

Infernape looks sorta cool, but just bugs me, since it's an obvious Blaziken rip-off. Also, it's first two forms are ugly as sin.

I vote Kanto.

Blaziken and Charizard are by far the most common, so probably those two.

Infernape is actually way different compared to blaziken, they just have same type combo.

My fave is Charmander, only because I picked it in the original RBY. It's the only time I've picked a Fire starter.

But I voted Infernape. It's awesome in its own way (it's known for kicking some serious butt in Shoddy).

Chimchar is my favorite.

My favorite fire type starter would either be Chimchar or cyndaquil...idk why though..... Every time i play pokemon games, i always choose grass types.

My fav fire pokemon from these options would have to be Charizard. He's a beast and he proved that to me in my earlier days. Thanks

My favorite is cyndaquil. Why? Because it was one of my first pokemon.:) Also, when he evolved in my silver version he was pretty strong.
